Remarks

One can enjoys their life to the fullest. Its lovely 3 years and one can learn and enjoy both. Management is average, no comments for them.

Entrance Preview

I hadn't take any entrance. Admission is solely based upon 12th Class marks and cut off marks released by college for various subjects.Admission process is very smooth, my name was in cut off list, admission took only 1 hour with sharing the documents with college and paying fees of 10000 rupees.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is the best in india, i mean it is designed by Delhi university.

Internships Opportunities

No internship during Bachelor's.

Placement Experience

Placements are average as no company came for Bachelors in Zoology. If at all any companies came, it is for Bachelors in Commerce courses.

College Events

There are lots of programs throughout the year one can enjoy. It started with Freshers party, culture events of Sikhs, Festivals where top singers are invited.Apart from that activities on Public Holidays and regular competitions and various other events takes place. once can enjoys other colleges festivals as well in North campus specially SRCC.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are available for low income group families and loan facility is not required as fees is very less. Apart from that scholarship is given for meritorious students.

Campus Life

Campus life is just too good, one can enjoy in Jannat, BBC court, Auditorium is one of the best in campus. Sports ground is well maintained and gender ratio is almost equal. Lots of competitions at every level for Science, Debates and Sports.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels is very good, not aware about the fees as i stayed at my home. Food is good. PGs are easily available in nearby areas with rent ranges from 6-7 till 20k for 2BHK.

External Expense: Rs. 4000 - Rs. 7000

Alumni/Alumna

It is average as only seniors are available, there is no such portal where alumni can connect with Juniors.

Faculty

Faculty is top notch, most of them experience of having 20-25 years and they are too good with their knowledge both in theory and practical terms.

To get admission in this college which is one of the very good institutions in the country,the student should have completed class 12 with at least 50 percent from a recognized Indian Board. They will have to give the entrance exam and based on their merit, they will be given the admission.

Remarks:

If you are going to Jamia Millia Islamia, do not expect any exposure. Once, graduated you'll get to know that you have now come out of the shell. Jamia is not just a University, it's sort of a state in itself. Also, the process of getting a provisional certificate or migration certificate is damn tedious. I've almost cried every day pleading them to dispatch my certificates as soon as possible. They work like sloths in the Controller of Examination branch. Apart from the negatives, you'll be blessed with amazing friends. The biggest Negative Remark - You can not score high like any other University. Do not compare your marks with DU students. Professors in Chemistry Department do not give more than 75%. If you are getting 70% in Jamia, it's equivalent to scoring 85% in DU with the same pressure and hard work.

The college overall offers a great platform to everyone , to grow . It offers a required exposure to the students. The number of cultural activities provide students to excel in various fields other than studies also. All in all the college offers a great platform , to students , to explore academic and co-curricular fields.

awesome. And can not ever forget those spring rolls of the canteen along with adda we had in nostalgic place called the garden. That period of my life very precious one. Never going to forget it.
