Remarks

I liked computer science and MAIT was the best choice i had considering my entrance test marks. What i love about MAIT is that there is not very much boundation about attendance and coming to college, students can prepare for the things they want on own.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course syllabus was not much updated and many of the things that are taught are redundant. Faculties have knowledge but students have to be with them in order to get that knowledge from them. Industrial exposure is not present

Placement Experience

Companies do visit the campus and the maximum package offered is somewhere in the range of 10-15lpa. Many of the alumni have got offcampus opportunities in big tech giants. Startup culture is not very prominent.

College Events

All sorts of societies are present and one can take part in many of them. Also the annual festival also takes place in even semester which has a lot of cultural and technical activities. Sport meet also takes place once in an year where we can take part and compete.

Campus Life

Campus has a very good and big library, also sport ground is big enough. College also has separate basketball, lawn tennis, badminton courts. Wifi is not accessible to the students as only the labs get the access to the internet.

Placement Experience:

The placement was not too good it was bad the main reason was like it have not in better place if student want to grab an offer he do offcampus apply so they get job .The companies visted our collage was tcs ,infosys , wipro and sometime Amazon. The highest pacakge was offers in 2020 for almost like 30LPA after that non of them get that much placement .In simple wprd you are the reason of your too get placed in companies . In our collage not fang companies offerd placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good especially during recession. You're eligible for placements after 3rd year. After 2nd Year you're eligible for Internships. All Big Companies like Google Microsoft Apple Goldmansachs Mckinsey etc. Highest package offered till now in 2025 is 85LPA (Atlassian) Average of CSE is 17 -18 lpa . almost 53% people get placed in 2025 (recession time). See The degree OF DTU has its value. So it gives you an edge while you go for off campus.

Placement Experience:

The placement rate here is around 70-75% on an avg in all branches and sometimes even higher. After 1st year only , multiple opportunities starts coming . After 1st year and before 2nd year , basically in summer vacation we have to do a compulsory internship (college also provides) and we are provided a credit for that . Then multiple opportunities like GOOGLE STEP ,amacon internship , etc come.

Placement Experience:

From 6 semester all students are eligible for campus placements there are almost more than 30+ companies come to make offers and don't recall the names but almost 34 lakh per annum is the highest package they offer and some lucky students also get 80 lakh per annum package almost 80 percent students get placed.

Students start interships as early as the end of 1st year. and they become eligible for campus placement in the 4th year.there are more than 25 companies which visit the college and around 100 students get placed. Highest pakage last year went around 20LPA, and average was around 9LPA.

In each sem we have to give exams twice - mid terms and end terms. They are not much difficult the level is moderate. Teaching method is also good bit sometimes they are not able to complete the syllabus

The corses are well designed And related to your curiculum evey course are relevent for student the course they provied in first sem are Math,computational thinking,Intoduction to south asia,ENG,Phy. most of collages have mechanical in their first sem where they have to do weilding ,crafting etc which have no use in course of CS.

MAIT Review from the perspective of a student

Before 2019, all admissions to B.Tech programs were done through a test conducted by GGSIPU. But from 2019 JEE Mains scores are used for admission. The cutoff of different programs is decided by the University. An applicant has to fill out an online admission application form in which they have to mention their JEE Mains rank and their preferences of the GGSIPU colleges.
