Remarks

JD Birla institute of Management is ranked first in Kolkata and is ranked 4th nationally in the field of undergraduate management. I belong to Kolkata so it was a great choice for me. And most of my cousins passed out from this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Bba course is good when you want to do MBA in future. Curriculum is good and flexible. Our fest is amazing and so is our college crowd. Faculties are also very supportive and constructive. It’s good to be a part of it

Placement Experience

Since I’m in second year now and I have no idea about the kind of placements we get. But our seniors have good feedback regarding the placements and the job opportunities. College do help us to get good placements.

College Events

Though our campus is very small since it involves only 2 floors of Birla High School. The reason our college campus is small because our college is a small department of management. But we do get a lot of space for sports and Vidhya Mandir is available for our fests or other events.

Placement Experience:

1)From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement. 2) Cognizant , TCS(most fav), Wipro, startups, IBM visit for recruitment . 3)In 2023 highest was 45lpa by amazon average is 4.5lpa. 4)From our Hostel each and every senior get placed. some with good package like tcs digital, even off campus (2025). 5)My plan is to take a job and enter in IT firm to learn and teach new technolgies through my YOUTUBE.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Personally i opted for electrical and electronics instead of the branch of my choice is because my scores were not enough to secure a seat in CSE. But EEE is pretty cool as well for those willing to grow in this branch. Our curriculum exposes us to the rapidly growing sectors in the industry and educates us of all we need to know about the course in depth. If you want to continue ahead in a research field, this Institute is the most supportive. The exam questions are also relevant enough and considering we only need to actually stress over end semesters, its fair enough per semester. It would be better if our professors removed the attendance criteria rest im fine with everything else
