Remarks

Its a government college and the fee structure is very much less as compared to other colleges. Education quality is also good. The teachers are supportive and friendly. The college has a well maintained library and good infrastructure.

Course Curriculum Overview

We had planned an industrial visit but due to exams it got postponed and then the lockdown was started. So, till now there has been no industrial exposure. We were taken to the Dainik Sawera newspaper company for understanding of Print Media.

Class Size: 62

Internships Opportunities

Digital Marketing internship at SPADE EMS Pvt Ltd, Jalandhar Campus Ambassador intern at International Model United Nations.

Placement Experience

Placements are yet to be organised. Many students were placed in Amazon last year. Some students are placed in banks etc.

College Events

Mostly there are activities like debate, speech etc. Cultural activities are only performed during Lohri function or in Youth Festival held in Amritsar each year for students. I have participated in 400m race, debate competition, story writing competition etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

Post Matric Scholarship by Punjab government for reserved category students. Also, the college provides scholarship to the bright and needy students for their study.

Campus Life

Infrastructure is really good. There is one badminton court and a volleyball court. The library is well maintained. The teachers are supportive and friendly in nature. The college is full of greenery and nature gives cool shade and place to sit under during the breaks.

Pros and Cons of LPU

Placement Experience:

In our course in bsc agriculture the placement is not that much that much good but in other courses like B.tech CSE in that courses there are the very high placements one of our senior get 2.5 CR package from LPU and one of our senior also get 3 crore package this is highest package and the average package of B.tech CSE is 5 to 10 lakh If the campus is not offering placement to me I will go for government exams or going for entrepreneurship also offers good package but not that much good the bsc agriculture sector wants needs more improve improvement in placement cell yeah that's all but if a person wants to do semester exchange also in foreign countries so over University will also provide some guidance to him and they will support the students to go for an exchange for foreign semester exchange programs and there are two many things also

Placement Experience:

The placements at LPU are decent, the University provides placements to almost every student. The placement cell here is really very active. More than 1000 companies visit LPU during placement drives providing average package of 6-7LPA in CSE field. The highest package recorded was 2.5 crore from robotics and automation and 64 LPA in CSE department. 99% of students at LPU get placed. My plan after getting the degree is to join the corporate and work as a SDE or AI/ML engineer at MNC.

However some units feel outdated and could be revised to match the latest industry standards .
