Remarks
This college comes under the best college in punjab. Especially the departments of commerce, physics and economics are declared as 'star departments' by the UGC. The college placements is also good and the faculty is very supporting.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is also fine. In fields of academics specially in sports the college is doing very well. The faculty is also good (I don't know about other courses). They work on the overall development of a students and not just the bookish knowledge.
Placement Experience
The placements in several fields are good but in several fields it's okay. The college provide placements to the students. Many companies visits to the campus to hire students who excels in different fields. Some companies who have visited the campus for placements are TATA INDICOM, DELL, CIPLA, GOOGLE.COM , IBM COMPUTER APPLICATIONS, HDFC BANK, AIRTEL BHARTI, ETC.
College Events
The campus life is good especially for the hostellors. The hostels have air-conditioned mess cum dining hall, GYM with equipments. However, admission to hostel is also on merit basis. When it comes to extracurricular activities the college is also doing well specially in sports and activities. Several competitions are also conducted here.
Campus Life
The infrastructure is good. The PG block is air conditioned and the college has air conditioned digital library. We have 4 seminar halls in the college and 51 laboratories. The whole campus is under e-surveillance and ATM facility is also available in the campus.
