Remarks

GNDU is one of the most respected universities in North India. Also, close proximity to my hometown was a factor. The campus is filled with greenery. Beautiful buildings. Great faculty. Huge library.

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is a bit outdated for sure. Industrial exposure was all our responsibility as we had compulsary internship in the curriculum. Faculties were great. All were well versed in their respective subjects.

Course Fees: INR 200000 per year

Placement Experience

2020 placements were far less due to the pandemic. Many edtech companies visited this year. Insurance firms and others.

College Events

Jashan Fest is one of the best college festival in Amritsar. Sports, technical and management fests were always ongoing. Each department had their own fest too. Participation was more than enough.

Campus Life

Everything is great. Wifi was not accessible. Sports facilities were optimum. Every sport imaginable is there in university. Library is huge, actually. Labs have all the equipment required.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are good too. Hostel rooms are spacious. The new Hostels are better than older buildings. Old ones are also renovated. Mess food is also okay. Sports grounds within hostels were there. Washrooms were good.

Hostel Fee: INR 50000 per year

Overall university is nice but i would suggest to opt for government colleges if you are looking in Chandigarh

Placement Experience:

In last year means in semester 5th , amity offers placements. Companies visited was amazon, Google, microsoft , airtel , flipkart , deloitte and adobe in 2023. Package:- highest 10 lakh per annum and average was 5-6 lakh per annum offered by deloitte and hdfc 8000+ students got placements. My plans after the degree are Ma in clinical psychology from abroad.

Its is good college in terms of money and their atmosphere

Placement Experience:

Our college is not so good in terms of placement. Our college is not tied up with the MNC for the placements of the students. Mostly sales-related jobs are offered in the placements. The highest package offered by our college is approx 7 LPA and the average package is 4.8 LPA. According to my point of view, only 15 to 20 percent of students can get jobs.

Life at GMC Patiala

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this as it is one of the well-known colleges for mbbs in Punjab. 10:225, Faculty, are postgraduates. With an experience of more than 5years mostly. At the end of the year, there were exams that are a bit difficult to pass.
