Remarks

The education infrastructure, the modern facilities. The brand of the college is also a reason. The college had my course and had subjects related to what I exactly wanted to study. The college provides both practical and theoretical experience which is the most important in my subject.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is strict enough and the standards of academics is very high too. The competition is very high in class. The faculty is friendly as well as an a set of amazing people from different fields. They have taught us hands on experience.

We have a placement cell on the campus. There you get internships and placement offers. You can also get any queries regarding these matters answered there.

College Events

Campus life is very eventful. We have have fests by almost every department and we have proper celebrations for important days. The campus is full of life at all times. The college also provides us with societies/clubs which is a great opportunity to know your seniors.

Campus Life

We have computer labs and Mac labs for students to work on different softwares. We also have a newsroom studio and a recording studio. For law students, the college is also offering a proper courtroom for a hands-on experience.

Remarks:

The infrastructure of this college is under development. One should not expect much facilities here because the college was established in 2016 and the first batch has not passed out yet. The laboratories are not up to the mark as there are less number of instruments. However there is a central library which is pretty good. There are projectors in most of the classrooms. The thing one can appreciate here is the cleanliness, whether in the classrooms or in the hostels or in the canteen.

First of all i liked the discipline of the college. And its student friendly environment. And the most that i like in this college is the friendly behaviour from the faculty as well as the non teaching staff. I love our college library. The course I have opted for has one of the best faculties in this college over West Bengal. We have 2 Ieee student society in this college in which students can easily be part of and enhance their skills. The placement cell of our college is highly reputed as they always bring in the best companies for campussing. (Including core companies). We have excellent lab facilities where we can work upon our projects. From this college numerous students have participated in hackathons( including national levels) and bagged prestigious positions. We have an MHRD facilitated research lab.

Being A Xaverian

It is a very good University with great educational facilities. the placements of SXUK is fabulous, many of seniors are in big multinational companies. The sports and extra curricular activities are very good and with many opportunities. They provide scholarships too. To be very honest this university has no backdrop it has no science subjects but is giving studies in Law, Business, Commerce, Humanities, Mass Communication and Social Work too. The only thing is that the teachers here are new with less teaching experience but are highly qualified. Admission Process : Minimum 45% in All Subjects, No Quotas here, And admission in Law is taken through an Entrance Exam Called Xavier's Law Admission Test (XLAT).
