Remarks

its one of the best universities in Punjab and also it holds 29th position overall India the Facility is considered as one of the best facility as most of them are Ph.D. scholars with more than 10 years of experience

over all its o.k. but when it comes to the industrial exposure it not as much as the other colleges it should provide more industrial exposure by giving students more real life project works where they have to deal with real life industries and clients

many well known companies has visited our campus like SAP Labs, TCS, Wipro, Nagarro, Capgemini, etc etc last year maximum package was 12.5 lakhs p.a and the average package was 6.2 lakhs p.a

our campus holds regional youth fest which is known as "jashan youth fest" it also organizes many sports fests we also have departmental tech fest my department organizes tech fest named "iris tech fest" similarly every department organizes there own tech fests etc etc there are also regular seminars and fan meet ups many big faces has came to our campus like Dalia Lama, Dr. Manmohan Singh etc etc Many celebs from entertainment industry has also show there presence on our campus like Ninja, Amrinder Gill, Diljit Dosanjh etc etc

Course curriculum is not well oriented by the officials Things we need to know for doing patients are not well taught bcoz that's is what we need for MDS (post graduation) so they donot teach them now Which is wrong So according to me Clinical stuff and practicals should be more concetrated on instead of theoretical study There need to be a mid term exam conducted likewise in MBBS for better preparation Proper test which are not regularly conducted should be there Teachers need to be hired Posts for teachers are vacant Teaching staff needs to teach students instead of pgs

Overall university is nice but i would suggest to opt for government colleges if you are looking in Chandigarh

Placement Experience:

In last year means in semester 5th , amity offers placements. Companies visited was amazon, Google, microsoft , airtel , flipkart , deloitte and adobe in 2023. Package:- highest 10 lakh per annum and average was 5-6 lakh per annum offered by deloitte and hdfc 8000+ students got placements. My plans after the degree are Ma in clinical psychology from abroad.

Its is good college in terms of money and their atmosphere

Placement Experience:

Our college is not so good in terms of placement. Our college is not tied up with the MNC for the placements of the students. Mostly sales-related jobs are offered in the placements. The highest package offered by our college is approx 7 LPA and the average package is 4.8 LPA. According to my point of view, only 15 to 20 percent of students can get jobs.

I chose this as it is one of the well-known colleges for mbbs in Punjab. 10:225, Faculty, are postgraduates. With an experience of more than 5years mostly. At the end of the year, there were exams that are a bit difficult to pass.
