Remarks

I entered this University because I got the admission into my department easily. The surrounding of the university is lush green. The fees is nominal according to private colleges. It is state government colly which drives me to get admission into the university.

Course Curriculum Overview

In my department teachers from 3rd year are good. They provide a source of knowledge of the industry by showing us the videos. The syllabus is not updated. Faculties - Manindar Kaur (dairy), Amritpal Kaur ( Fat & oil), Munish saini ( computer), BS Gill ( meat & fish)

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 800000 per year

Only ITC comes for hiring which will take only one student from the department. They have criteria of having min 7 CGPA. along with cleared entrance, GD & PI round.

College Events

Campus life is not so cool. It depends on student to student ho he want to enjoy. The tech fests are very poor. Only they have concept of playing a cheap DJ and there it's over. There is no level according to IITs and NITs.

The infrastructure of the university is awesome. It is a lush green campus with WiFi from 7pm to 7am in hostels and full time wifi in library.The architecture of the library is very unique. The hostels are made in such a way that perfect sunlight enters in the room according to winter and summer. The labs are not well equipped. Library is very big

Overall university is nice but i would suggest to opt for government colleges if you are looking in Chandigarh

Placement Experience:

In last year means in semester 5th , amity offers placements. Companies visited was amazon, Google, microsoft , airtel , flipkart , deloitte and adobe in 2023. Package:- highest 10 lakh per annum and average was 5-6 lakh per annum offered by deloitte and hdfc 8000+ students got placements. My plans after the degree are Ma in clinical psychology from abroad.

Its is good college in terms of money and their atmosphere

Placement Experience:

Our college is not so good in terms of placement. Our college is not tied up with the MNC for the placements of the students. Mostly sales-related jobs are offered in the placements. The highest package offered by our college is approx 7 LPA and the average package is 4.8 LPA. According to my point of view, only 15 to 20 percent of students can get jobs.

Life at GMC Patiala

I chose this as it is one of the well-known colleges for mbbs in Punjab. 10:225, Faculty, are postgraduates. With an experience of more than 5years mostly. At the end of the year, there were exams that are a bit difficult to pass.
