Remarks

Really good college. In this answer i am writing only about the faculty and crowd. Faculty is really helpful and all the lab incharges are very kind. for example: if someone misplace or forget his/her belongings or even manuals they stay completely safe with the incharges and even for few weeks. There are many new places to enjoy and have societies for almost every interest. Teachers are really very humble and soft while talking, they clear every doubt and open for some personal problems. Crowd is overwhelming and personally the seniors are very cooperative and nothing to consider about ragging and all. Overall, this is really nice about the college, moreover these things can't be ignored.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course Curriculum and Syllabus is the best part about our college and all IIITs for that matter. From the first year itself, we go into CS, ECE core unlike other colleges where they do useless topics like Chemistry, Physics in Computer Science. We also have Class Hackathons, Competitive Programming in class itself. Industrial Exposure was not given by college itself but being in an area where we have startups and companies all around, anyone who is driven will get all the opportunity he wants. Literally all seniors have internships from second year itself. In terms of faculties, Dr Uma was an excellent faculty. She taught us various ML concepts in our Data Structures class itself (2nd Sem). Our math teacher Dr Madhukanth taught us calculus well. Dr Akki taught us Digital Design and Dr Deepak taught us Microprocessors (I was in ECE in 1st year then changed branch). These above subjects were specifically taught very well.

Placement Experience

4.5

In IPU, MAIT secures the topmost position. This is because it has a name of having 100% placements. I cannot deny the fact but i can say that i am disappointed. The mass recruiters (INFOSYS, WYPRO, ACCENTURE) takes almost 70% of college. The average package being 3.5-4 LPA. The other companies visiting are big wigs like AMAZON, ION TRADING, etc. The highest package offered was 10.5 lacs by Amazon. The CSE and IT students have almost 100% placements. I don't have idea about other branches.

College Events

5

The annual and cultural festival of MAIT is for name sake. There ain't no fest at all. Almost 90% of college is absent on fest days. The cultural fest of IPU ( as whole ) called ANUGOONJ is literally awesome and happens on large scale because of the size of university and colleges under it.

Campus Life

There are a total 0f 9 blocks, 7 of which are for MAIT and 2 are for MAIMS(management) and an administration block. There is an on campus boy's hostel, a sports ground, badminton court, 2 auditoriums, one main canteen and one back canteen.

Placements are good especially during recession. You're eligible for placements after 3rd year. After 2nd Year you're eligible for Internships. All Big Companies like Google Microsoft Apple Goldmansachs Mckinsey etc. Highest package offered till now in 2025 is 85LPA (Atlassian) Average of CSE is 17 -18 lpa . almost 53% people get placed in 2025 (recession time). See The degree OF DTU has its value. So it gives you an edge while you go for off campus.

Placement Experience:

The placement rate here is around 70-75% on an avg in all branches and sometimes even higher. After 1st year only , multiple opportunities starts coming . After 1st year and before 2nd year , basically in summer vacation we have to do a compulsory internship (college also provides) and we are provided a credit for that . Then multiple opportunities like GOOGLE STEP ,amacon internship , etc come.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The university doesn't beat around the bush while deciding the courses. They have picked only the subjects and the curriculum that are suitable for our field and focus on making us future-ready. Some subjects might seem a little fast-paced, but if you are consistent enough, you won't face any problems. It is safe to say that the exams and things taught in most the subjects are same to that of its so there is no lacking behind in that aspect.
