I was very much interested in cooking and my passion for it drove me to take admission in Institute of Hotel Management Mumbai to do a course of Hotel Management I want to explore the hospitality industry I have seen so many television or web series based on cookery which created a passion in me to be a chef and to be a part of a chef life and after that I was very much keen to be a chef and choose it as my career option.

The curriculum was not that much updated with the industry where which we are currently working in. yes we were provided enough industrial exposure during our industrial training days which includes 4 month of industrial training in each and every department of the hotel where you learn how hotel industry and hospitality industry operates in and out. Yes our faculty were too good especially Chef Jeason Cardoz, Francis Thomas, Asit Kumar Mishra and few more.

Yes I opted for three different internships during the college days first one was industrial exposure training where I was trainee in a five star hotel where I have to perform the basic jobs which is done by an apprentice, I did my industrial training from Hyatt regency Mumbai, where my stipend was 1200INR. Then I did internship stand alone restaurant where my stipend was 4000 INR

Is the campus life was very good it was full of adventurous, joyful, learning and fun at the same time. There are various college festivals which college holds and there are many religious as well as national festival celebrated at our campus each year. And the biggest of them was cornucopia which is a food fest usually held in the month of March and in which the entire college participate and tried to deliver the best.

I haven't avail any scholarship during my college days but there are few scholarships available which are sponsored by State Government as well as hotel associations.Which is provided on merit basis interviews as well as financial status of your family.If you belong to a backward caste and your family annual income is less than 2 lacs you are eligible to fill the scholarship

The campus or not that big can we compare the college in a city like Mumbai then yes it was big, there is no space for outdoor games are any sports facility if you want to play outdoor games you have to visit nearby park are are they used to have playground of any other school or colleges nearby but there is enough space available for indoor games it was the Wi-Fi campus there are two libraries when is reading and another one is lending. Yeah we have some good labs for practicals which has most of the required equipments with them.

Yes I was in hostel and the room was quite big enough, there were three types of room available first one as on double sharing basis second one was triple sharing basis and the last one is NRI rooms. Yes hostel rooms are limited upto 150 seats.yes there are various PG and hostels available nearby on the average cost of them is INR10,000.if you want to avail the hostel facilities which is available when you promoted to second year you have to maintain a good attendance as well as good marks.
