Remarks
It's one of the best colleges for Arts and Science in Mumbai. Also, the statistics department of this college is quite experienced. This college promotes a lot of cultural activities and is an active participant of various intercollegiate programs going on.
Course Curriculum Overview
My course develops strong basics of statistics. But there's a need to keep it updated. Industrial exposure is limited in the BSc course. Faculties are well experienced and trained in what they teach. They are ready to conduct extra lectures for clearing our doubts. Also, lectures are regularly held and teachers are quite strict about our attendance.
Internships Opportunities
I have applied for internship (content management) online. I ended up working for 2 months with Pitricks E-learning company and earned 10000.
Placement Experience
We do not have any job opportunities in the first year. But we get campus placement opportunities once we enter the final year. There are various companies which keep coming in. Also, students are given tips and training for performing well in the interview.
College Events
We have various events and college festivals going on around the year. It's fun to be a part of them and even organising them. Also, lot of competitions keep happening. Campus is beautiful and possess a lot of trees. We usually have a huge fest with other college students participating in them too. Also, there are various days celebrated in the college.
Campus Life
We have a well equipped gym with great coaches. One needs to take a yearly membership for it. Also, we have a great indoor badminton court, wrestling field and shooting site. Our library is the best place of the college. There's reading hall on the top of the building and a huge library on the ground floor. Also, every single department have their labs.
