Shruti Thombre's Review On St Andrew's College Of Arts Science And Commerce, Mumbai

I was born and brought up in convent background. This was one of the reasons. Another reason was that this college is very good in Cultural activities, sports, etc apart from studies which I think is amazing. This inspired me to become an Andrean.

I am a commerce graduate and my course was BCOM.The Curriculam was based on the Mumbai University guidlines. The faculties were the best, very qualified and very supportive. There were projects assigned to us which were based on the syllabus.

The placements are pretty decent. I did not go through interviews via the college as I want to pursue my MBA. So I have no Idea about this. The proffessors and the placement commitee was pretty helpful as per my friends.

Our campus is huge. There are many many many cultural events going on almost everyday!! The junior college hold an intra college singing participation in which I took part. The faculty and the senior batch of students were very supportive.

The fees are subsidized for girls. And they were totally affordable. There is a lot of scope for the Christian minority. Loans/scolarships may be given on the consent of the principal. I'm not sure about it.

The sports facilities in our college were amazing. Football, basketball, throwball, carrom, etc were available.There were many intercollege football matches. Our college library is one of the best library in Mumbai. It has a ground floor and 1st floor. WIFI was meant for the staff and not the students.
