Remarks
Sociology is a subject that follows a rather holistic and scientific method of study. Also, it opens more prospects for masters and jobs as compared to other humanitarian disciplines. Kamala Nehru College has an excellent faculty in the Department of Sociology. The teachers arrange for international seminars and workshops frequently.
Course Curriculum Overview
Sociology as a course in Delhi University requires you to read a lot of original texts written by classical theorists. The course is updated, but doesn't push you enough to conduct your own research. In Kamala Nehru College, Archana ma'am is the Teacher in charge of the sociology department. She looks out for her students and keeps everyone engaged in academic as well as internship work.
