Remarks

Proximity to home, among the top colleges for economics in India, good faculty, good cafeteria, amazing peer group, girls college meant no restriction on dressing, well connected with metro station and autos availability

Course Curriculum Overview

The college followed the guidelines of the university. The teachers ensured we had regular lectures and was always ready to help us with the doubts. we did not see a single day of strike or protest hampering our studies unlike many of the north campus colleges.Our teachers were sincere and always finished the syllabus well before our semester exams.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 24000 per year

Placement Experience

3.5

Placement cell is active and companies like zomato, tcs come on board to hire students. The starting salary ranges from 5 to 9 lakhs per annum for economics and B.com graduates.The role is mostly of Economic Research, Market Anlayst etc.

College Events

Extracurricular was amazing. Our fashion society and theater are among st the best in Delhi. There is however rigorous entry auditions to these societies. We had an annual fest Ulaas and an annual economics fest called ecophoria. we had some of the amazing bands perform in our fests. we also had great leaders come to our founding days to speak and motivate us.

Placement Experience:

Placement are good. Companies visited - Bain and co. , mckensey and co. , TATA, Airtel, Qaulcom, Samsung, microsoft, amazon, etc. Almost all tier one companies visited the campus. Overall 4.5/5 in governement engineering college for placments.

My CVS, DU story: Lessons, laughter and unforgettable memories!

Placement Experience:

There's a placement cell and placement drives do happen in college but genuinely the package offered is not really considerable. After the 4th semester students are considered to sit in the placement drives though I would say it is not very efficient and fruitful.

The college has really more to do with its placement cell because students are not getting opportunities as they expect. The companies which come for placement drive are from limited domains and they also offer very normal package.

KNC, DU honest review as someone from outside Delhi

I applied for multiple other colleges in DU. Like hindi, Venky and SBSE. I was alloted by CUET according to my prefernce list.
