The college is very responsive to the requests of the students and provides great food. But the only problem is the summer heat and the lack of air conditioning.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course syllabus is divided effectively within the 6 semesters that the course offers. Subjects as per their difficulty level are alloted in a semester which is helpful in organising our studies as per. There are plenty of days to prepare for a specific exam which helps us in time management and also gives us proper rest.
Placement Experience
Companies like KPMG, infoedge,Ernst & young and delloite and many more visit the college campus to provide placement to students. The process starts with seprating the students as per their grades and then interviews are held, where they discuss their future plans, their grades and the reason why they want to work in the specific field. More than 50% students get placed.
College Events
The college fests begin from October starting with Diwali fests and other festivals which is quite big, it consists of stalls of Indian cuisines and traditional jwellery and accessories at cheap rates. Then each departmental soceity in the college holds their seprate fests around the month of January which consists of food stalls as well and several small start up owners are their to spread their business. Finally in the month of February a cultural fest is held which often includes a star performance from a famous singer, amazing variety of food, fun games and activities like tarot card reading and lucky draw and again people with their start ups.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is quite feasible. It does not exceed 10 thousand and differs as per course. There are no additional charges. For b.com programme the fee is only 5016 rupees which consists of all expenses throughout the year. The fee process is conducted online as well as in the college office.

No I did not, there are reservations for sc obcs and several other sections of people all over the university as per the law
Campus Life
Maitreyi college is a girls college therefore there are no students of any other gender. Allthough girls from all over the country take admission in the college and are treated with same love and respect since there is no hiding amongst girls. Girls tend to enjoy freedom in speech, dressing and expression more as there are no boys. There are regular debated and competetions held by socities of our college as well as other colleges. The labs are supplied with pretty much all the appliances and subjects.
Alumni/Alumna
The seniors are quite helpful and supportive, they don't bully or conduct ragging rather help the freshers around the college campus and guide them better through their courses and socities.
Admission
I got admission in this college through my 12th board exam percentage. It is a well known college of Delhi University offering several courses taught by a good set of staff. The admission process required us to fill out admission forms online and select our desired course and then submit our documents in the college where we fall as per the cut off list of the university. Once the submission is done, we recieve a form with our admission number which fulfills the procedure.
Faculty
The faculty of the college is experienced and well versed with their subjects. They hold interactive sessions with the students and creates a friendly bond with their students which often eases the studies and ends the awkwardness and fear between teacher and student. The teachers leave no doubts uncleared and make sure that the students understand the concepts before moving on to the next topic. Some lecturers hold quite a high position in the university and commendable ranks.
