The best of both worlds- Youth events and Curriculum

College is good from an alumni point of view, but very much important to make the courses flexible according to the industry- requirements, security facilities in campus groom students accordingly for becoming industry-ready.

The course curriculum is majorly decided by the UGC-HRD system in the university in consultation with authorities, but not flexible according to industry requirements. Not groomed much to provide industry-specific knowledge to the students. Mostly research-based curriculum.

Since it was a university format in the course, not much emphasis on Internships or campus placements were given, so not many companies came for placements. No special training to prepare students for placement season.

Students come from across the city and state to witness the Youth fests and Annual College Fest, Musical Events, Technical conferences every month. Apart from that, the university also holds valuable cultural fest for every department including freshers and farewell.

The fee structure is quite feasible with a scholarship provided to BPL and reserved candidates based on merit and need. No extra fees to be submitted, quite a transparent system but need to improve in clear recognition and system. The mode of payment is by DD through SBI GU or online mode.

I have not availed any scholarship program from the university but the process involves getting the form from the student's forum office in university and attaching necessary documents to support it.

Gender ratio can be 60/40; Acceptance of students from all races, religion, sexual orientation, and economic status giving high subject knowledge and youth event exposure. Cultural, social and technical societies and events make the experience in campus worthwhile and lively.

Didn't opt for college hostels. But hearing about the hostels for girls and boys, quite friendly and hygienic. A hostel experience is highly recommended if you are trying to become a guide. Average rentals go from 1000-4000 per month

Senior students and alumni are easily reachable and friendly. Interactions with seniors helped us in coping with the hostel anxiety and course of study.

Chose this course for interest in commerce, also being one of the biggest universities in the state. The admission Process included Entrance test and merit list followed by admission induction program with professors and Dean. The selection process for the course happened in a span of 1-2 months of entrance test, quite fair results.

The tentative no. of lectures would range from 20-30 lectures, the average age of students would be 22 years. Usage of more bookish knowledge than industry examples and the latest developments in the industry. Lecturers were mostly Ph.D. holders having experience in teaching and industry.
