Remarks

Well. For me my college is really excellent. I don't have any bad remarks or complaints against my college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Yeah. Our college in an autonomous college. So unlike most of the college under university, we have many topics that aren't in the syllabus. These topics are added with due consideration and in consultation of various authorities within the college and with that of the university. Our syllabus is a bit more vast than other colleges. But it is different and has many topics that are useful in general and in professional life as well. I believe I've learnt a lot in these 3 years of my degree college due to the variety in syllabus and also because the syllabus is designed in a specific way that helps students to gain more knowledge and learn more in a systematic way.

Placement Experience

4.5

Our college has a body called Career Developmnt Cell that holds interviews from many reputed companies on a large scale on specific days. Thus, students are able to get jobs or internships before graduation and also they get a lot of experience. Even during lockdown our college had sent us details of various placements from very companies. Our college provides great supoort to students to get jobs. Also there are many seminars on skill development, how to give interviews and many more that are very useful.

College Events

4

Like there are may events in our college. I'm not well aware about them all. It is because I've never taken interest in those and I've never participated in any event either. But every section like Bcom, BMS etc have separate events for each section every year. Also there is the Springz that is held on a very large scale very year. Every event has a lot of activites and competitions too. Also there are DJs nights and Garba nights and various festivals are celebrated on our college as well.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure feasible according to me. I paid around 7000 for my T.Y.BCom. we've to pay fees online. Like we all have a common website which has separate accounts for each student. We've to log in to our accounts and then fill up a form with necessary details and pay our fees through debit or credit card or net baking or some other mediums. No, there weren't any additional fees that had to be paid. Yeah there is transparency in the breakdown of fee structure.

Fees and Financial Aid

I haven't availed for any scholarship or education loan. Yeah our college offers scholarships to students who need them. I don't know much about it. But I guess they've to give their personal details and submit some documents or give some exams. I'm sorry I don't know. But yeah our college gives free books to needy students on submission of some documents and after an interview I guess.

Campus Life

I can say that the number of girl students is higher than boy students. I don't know the ratio though. There are a lot of extracurricular activities like dramatics, singing, dance, many indoor and outdoor games, etc. Also there are various departments for students like English department, accounts department, etc. They hold seminars, competitions and activites on a regular basis with participation from both members and non-members. There is equal tolerance for all genders, religions, ethnicities, races, economic status. No one is ever discriminated.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes. They're really supportive. Like they help you with anything you need help with from academic guidance to even counseling if required.

Admission

First you've to Fill up the admission form. You've to fill in all your perosnal details and about your academic performance. Then the college authorities scrutinize the forms and segregate them. Then they come out with a merit list. Then if your name is in the list you've to pay fees by a giving a Demand Draft and fill admission form and submit necessary documents like address proof, previous report cards, etc. Then you'll get admission.

Faculty

5

I guess around 350-400 lectures were held in my final year. I'm not sure though. The average age of the faculty must the somewhere around 40-45. The faculty is excellent. All the teachers are very knowledgable. Some teachers even hold lectures for weak students so they can improve their Marks. Teachers don't just have knowledge about their subjects, but also about a lot of things in general. Many teachers have more than 2-3 degrees after post graduation with every accounts teacher being a CA. Many teachers have more than required qualifications and they're very experienced.

Clara's College of Commerce, Bachelor of Management Studies [BMS]
Reviewed on Sep 10, 2026(Enrolled 2024)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose the BMS (Bachelor of Management Studies) course primarily due to its highly comprehensive coverage of core business aspects specially human resources. The curriculum is well-structured to offer a deep understanding of corporate administration and strategic management, which strongly influenced my decision to enroll. Regarding the examination structure, semester exams are conducted systematically every six months, with internal assessments, assignments, and class presentations spread across the term. The timing is generally manageable, and the difficulty level ranges from moderate to high, effectively testing a student's analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities rather than just memory recall.

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chooses this curriculum as I am intrested to do law. Many of students and other peoples praises the college as "Best College of Law" in Marathwada region. To be honest. Really it is best college. Which gives us best curriculum during our academic year. The curriculum of college teaches me how to become a good lawyer. The arguing skills etc. There should be no suggestions from my side just to imrove the course curriculum as it is overall good. The timings and scheduled are fixed by college and university. Generally the exam is in two shifts 10:00 to 1.00 and 2.00 to 5.00pm.

Remarks:

Laxminarayan Institute of Technology is a reputed institute, when it comes to the field of Chemical Engineering. The placement at LIT for M.Tech students is also decent. In my batch, 50% of the students were placed on Campus, which is better than many NITs for Chemical Engineers doing M.Tech. The admission fees of 27,000 per year is also less in comparison with other institutes. The Teachers at LIT are also vastly experienced. Also the Institute was in my hometown, which made my decision even more easier.
