Course Curriculum Overview

5

The reason I choose this college is because of the knowledge they provide everything they teach is relevant to what the student is needed after passing the exam in the corporate world. The curriculum is made in a way that it helps student understand better points and reasons why and how to make decisions. Very good teaching methods very strict if something gets wrong and they take action and the frequency of exam is six months and they take written exams of 20 marks every month. so the student studies and the difficulty of exam is moderate.

Placement Experience

5

There are total six semesters in BCom and students usually get placement after completing five semesters and there is also a lot of placement opportunity, they also had placement fair, which had over 30 companies come and give placement opportunities to students and the companies included Amplispot technologies, ICICI Bank, axis Bank, AGS, Federal Bank, so overall very good companies

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fee is 10000 and yearly is 30000 for 3 years including lab, auditorium, gymkhana fee but not including extea curriculum activities. There is scholarships for SC,ST students whose fees is half of normal

Campus Life

4

There are a lot of clubs that give various opportunities to students to indulge in other works then studies there is an NSS cell. There are various events happening in the college all year around like spring, zestech and other events of different sections, there is also sports and annual day every year, the facilities provided in every classroom is a digital board and a speaker, and every room is AC ventilated and highly maintained

Admission

The reason I choose this colleges of affordability and the facilities is provide. The student crown is very good and they are very intelligent smart. Just making other student feel competitive and do better. There is nothing like admission process. I just had to fill a normal admission form with a fee and the cut-off is around 75 to 85 percent. The overall admission process is very smooth, and they ensure that proper message is passed to every student so that nothing goes wrong

Faculty

5

The faculty to student ratio is accurate. Whatever they teach is relevant to what is needed in the world, the best faculties there for accounting and marketing and taxation is Sindhu mam Preeti mam and Brian Sir. There is no such reason to dislike any teacher, they do their. job perfectly. There are midterm exams and exam level is moderate. The course curriculum is also better formed and around 20 percent of the total students fail in the exam.

Night Life

5

There is nothing like nightlife in college as the college gets closed at 7 PM every day and there is no much to hang out, but there are good cafes around 2 km in that area, so nothing fancy around the college, but it is very safe to roam at night in that locality as it is on the main road, so there is no such problem and there is also a police station just Opposite the college making it more safe. There is a library in college itself, which also gets closed at around 7 PM and also 23 libraries in that area, which are private

Course Curriculum Overview:

The B.com is not a very comprehensive and complex degree to complete for someone who wants to pursue his/her career in finance. It can be referred as an initial start or push start for one's finance journey over the years. Also the relevance of B.com in real world is gradually decreasing day by day.

From semester 5, you become eligible for final placement and semester 3 for internship placement. many companies like Nykaa, Myntra, Duetsche Bank, Morgan Stanley, Deloitte, Zomato, Beerbiceps and more have visited. the highest package in history is 38 lakh per annum. The average is 8-9 lakh per annum. Around 70% of students get the college placement. My plan is to start my own business after college. I am although doing internships through college. Already done one in Beerbiceps and one in chorus call.

Placements in my college are decent but not very high. students usually become eligible from the final year and few companies visit for roles like accounting assistant, sales, customer service. The average package is usually around Rs.2LPA-Rs.3LPA.

Due to NEP the course has been more developed to the students and teachers also explain the topocs to us very clearly and the thing should be change that the timing of the paper are at morning time which is at 7:30am it should be 10 or 10:30 because this time the students get late to the paper and didnt get time to prep.

Course Curriculum Overview:

One of the key aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the B.Com course at Sydenham College was its strong foundation in core commerce subjects such as Accounting, Economics, Business Law, and Finance. The structured progression from basic to advanced concepts, along with exposure to subjects like taxation and auditing, made the program particularly appealing for students aiming for careers in finance, CA, CS, or management.
