Remarks

It's brand name. Placements of this college are really good and also the culture it follows helps students to be ready to face the future endeavours with full confidence. It maintains a lot of discipline not only the students but also the faculty.

Course Curriculum Overview

Their is proper course pack offered to us which is very helpful for everyone of us as it gives us the clear insight of what n all learnings the particular course will provide to us and also faculty and students able to manage n decide what has to be done first in order to experience a good learning.

Internships Opportunities

Yes did an internship in alok industries. Was a great experience got to know alot about the functioning of the overall organisation and how and what policies company follows. It was non paid internship.

Placement Experience

3.5

There are many big companies which comes for the hiring the students. There is Deloitte, HUL, SBI general, and many other companies. So we get training before sitting for placements and there is a whole separate proces for the same which the college follows

College Events

3.5

Many fests and events takes place in our college and faculty puts lot's of efforts to make it a successful one and everytime students gets rewards for the same, if they did a great job to keep one's spirit high.

Fees and Financial Aid

No i haven't availed for any loan. But college do provide scholarships to people who needs it and deserves it

Campus Life

Campus is very good. All the facilities starting from the sports to wifi everything is available. And the campus is huge enough for students to take a walk or to have aby kind of physical activities which will keep the student's fit and healthy.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel Life is the only thing that's not that great about this college. There is no facility given to hostelites. And it's expensive but still we don't get any facilities we aren't allowed to enter hostel before the set time regardless of college holiday is there or lectures get over early.

Placement Experience:

Since we are going into our 2nd year, our batch hasn't been through campus placement yet. Based on previous batch records, though, students are typically eligible for placements from the 4th trimester onwards, once internships are completed. GIBS had a strong track record, with over 200+ companies visiting campus, including names like Amazon, Accenture, Wipro, Mahindra Finance, etc. The highest package offered was around 20 LPA, and average package was around 8.3 LPA

Indian Institute of Science - [IISc], Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] (Mathematics)
Reviewed on Mar 5, 2025(Enrolled 2019)

Course Curriculum Overview:

There wasn't really any. It was mostly the friendliness of the profs that pulled me into maths. Do note that in IISc, the first three semesters are common and you pick majors after that. The maths curriculum prepares you for a future in either industry or academia. Moreover, one can take courses in other departments to help their industry pursuits. Only way would be to make some courses more interactive, but this hasn't been a problem for me personally. Most high level courses have two exams. Sometimes not even that. And exams generally aren't difficult for someone who has kept up with the course.

Curriculum is based on practical scenarios and very relevant since doctors need to understand real life scenarios inorder to treat patients. Curriculum includes OSCE and certified skills that prepare students to become good doctors. More individual attention and skill development can help students understand topics and mould into good clinicians.

Placement Experience:

College provides a proper assistance for placements, all students gets placed, exception of 2-3 students are there, placements starts for summer internship one two months after entering the college, the procee is on till maximum of students gets placed. In and arround 50-80 companies visit campus for hiring and offers is made to every possible students eligible. Highest package stands at 18 lakhs and is between 10 to 11 lakhs. Nearly every students gets placed, exception of 2-3 students are there. Ambition and aspiration in my views changes as time proceeds, so I believe in short term goal making, though my plans post degree is to get placed in an MNC to kickstart my career from good position, where learning graph is very high.
