Entrance Preview

To get an admission in CET for M.Tech, all you need is to score a 430+ GATE score and must apply through online admission process, initiated by the DTE, kerala.

Course Curriculum Overview

CET, one of the prestigious government ruled engineering college of kerala, is fine occupied with a bunch of excellent faculty, and is following a well updated curriculum. from 2015 onwards, it is under the technological university of kerala, the Dr APJ Abdul Kalam technological university.

Internships Opportunities

The M.Tech scholars are getting a regular stipent of 12400 INR per month from AICTE, and is dispatched to the students mostly in two months. The application procedure for this gate stypent will be initiated by the college office, and the students must move on with the procedure as fast as possible.

Placement Experience

As far as other colleges in kerala is considered, the CGPU ( Career Guidance and Placement Unit) of CET is well visited by many core companies of almost all sections of engineering. it includes L&T, Mu-Sigma, Infosys, IBM, Mahindra, Hyundai, Texas Instruments, and many more which come to the campus very regularly.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Since CET is a government college, the fees is very affordable. It is really tough to get an admission in the college, and the B.Tech fees in the college is around 6000INR smemster wise, and for M.Tech, the fees is around 12-1400 INR yearly, with some special fees, for conducting various festivals and conferences.

Fees and Financial Aid

Since the fee structure described above will make it clear that there is no much need for loan facility to pay the fees, and is very affordable for common men. There is some fees concession and scholarship for students from poor family (KPCR scholarship).

Campus Life

Campus Life in CET is excellent, with a more than 200 acre campus wide spread, with a huge collection of trees and beautiful plants, we will feel a pleasant atmosphere, to enjoy and to recreate.

Placement Experience:

College offers lots of placements for B.Tech and MTech . Lots of comapnys are visited and lots of students are placed . Top most companies like L and T, ULCC, TCS, Microsoft etc are visited and they conducted Test and GD and select students accordingly

Placement opportunities are good. As I understand each students get minimum 20 company interview chances. students are placeed in TCS, Johson & Johson, eependorf, cipla, infosys etc. i think some where around 50000 per month was the highest. lowest is 15 k i believe.

Placements are mostly conducted with AMRITA school of pharmacy, and managed by the CIR team (They take care to develop and mould students from 1st semester in aptitude, English and soft skills). The package is, on average, between 3.5 - 5 LPA. The centre also has an opportunity to join back as JRF/PhD.

In a very short period of time the college us able to match the standards of IIT. Few of my batchmates received pre-placement offers during the college internship program. The college was able to provide the highest package of around 30 LPA and the average package was 11 LPA. Life at CET

This college is the best government college in Kerala. It has been consistently first in KIRF ranking. It has very cheap fees. The campus is very beautiful and spacious (about 200 acres). My best choice of colleges very IITs and NITs like most people. I couldn't crack JEE. I only applied to this college because I had very high ranking in KEAM exam and was confident of acceptance. KEAM exam is a lot easier to crack than JEE. It has basic higher secondary school syllabus. To get my course you would have to be around 700th rank. To get other courses in my college you can have rank as low as 20k....Read More
