Remarks

It's very good university. One Of the best agricultural sciences university in India. Where Student from all around the world come to complete their higher education. It Has great faculty friendly environment. The University campus is very beautiful and surrounded with greenery.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course was completely dependent on the practical knowledge of biotechnology. And We got to handle a lot of biotechnologist instruments. Which Are i a very good condition and are very convenient to perform practicals with a great precision.The Infrastructure is also very good. Got To learn a lot of things from this institute.

There is placement cell in the campus.Many Companies like syngenta, tierra seeds, kaveri seeds, various fmcg companies also visited campus.The University has a great alumni network as it is one of the oldest agricultural university in india.

College Events

The campus life is very good. There Are various sports cultural and university events are held which provide students a great exposure. There Also many programmes held for the benefits of farmers which are organised every year by various departments in the university

Campus Life

The infrastructure of the university is well planned and is very convenient to find all the departments and library. There Is world class library which includes high speed wi-fi 24?7 for students. The Library is open 27?7 for students. The Lab infrastructure is very well planned especially the biotechnology labs are very professionally planned with very nice quality of instruments.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel varies from the level of education your are pursuing. There Are many blocks divided according to level of education like bsc, msc, phd and also according to year of education separate hostel for year wise students. There Are sharing of 3 and also 2 in the hostel.

Hostel Fee: INR 2000 per year

My experience at Vijayapur college

In Karnataka, one can get seat in agriculture college through K-CET. We are supposed to give priority order for our colleges. So my priority order was - 1.University of agricultural Sciences, Dharwad 2.College of Agriculture, Vijayapura 3.University of Agricultural Sciences, Raichur 4.GKVK, Bengaluru.. So i got into college of agriculture vijayapura. I couldn't make it to UASD dharwad since the cut off was a big high. I put vijayapura college as my 2nd priority because it is the sub campus of dharwad university itself. Uasd was my frst prefereed university because i have heard a lot about its reputation and faculty and campus life.
