Entrance Preview

JEE Mains.I got 79 marks and therefore couldn't qualify for it. However i got 90% in boards ,so my combined score got me ok rank. I had to choose any college in my home state,Uttarakhand .I chose BIAS because it has a reputation of the name Birla.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college is affiliated to Uttarakhand Technical University (UTU).It follows curriculum issued by UTU.In the 1st year we were taught basics and a revision of what we had learnt before.The real course starts from 2nd year. I have no knowledge of how good is the course structure as i have no reference but i am sure we are being taught according to our trades.The Faculties here are qualified,M.Tech atleast.

Internships Opportunities

I am just joining my 2nd year. I have no idea if 2nd year students are taken for internships because that doesn't happen here atleast.

Placement Experience

If you are a little focused chances are high you will land a job here,keeping aside salaries though .My college has 2 courses undergoing that are B.Tech and MCA.Most of the final year students got placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Loans are available from banks and i have no idea about them.About scholarship ,it is mandatory for Every college under UTU to have 5% of there total seats kept for TUITION FEE WAIVER (TFW).

Campus placements starts here from the final year only as before that intenrships and workshops and trainings take it's toll. So, once they starts, every other week we have some or the other companies visiting here and not just that, they also don't go empty hand.

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

I choose this course because this college is semi government college in Haridwar . And fees are also not so high as compared to other private colleges . Real world applications are there as we have learn alot of knowledge in our first year about that like communication skills , public speaking , webinar and seminar etc. improvement is only needed in the good infrastructure and much more advanced technology should be there to deal with . The timings are of 3hrs in the semester exams and in the sessional it is of 1 hrs . Difficulty level is moderate .

in our college placement is good unless you have Backlogs,less then 75% attendence and the training fee if you dont join the the training fee then you are not allowed to join the placement interviews. those who dont get placement they try off campus for the placement but according to me employbility rate just 6-7 out of 10
