Remarks

It has an excellent faculty as heard from friends, my course was available, the college is very well known. Also it?s easy for travelling, close to the railway station. Fees is not too high. The laboratory is good enough.

Course Curriculum Overview

Yes we had industrial visits very often. The course is very helpful and gave all the knowledge required. Faculty was amazing. All phd teachers with maximum knowledge of the course. It was very helpful and got to learn so much from them.

Class Size: 30Course Fees: INR 18000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Took an internship in Raheja hospital, in microbiology laboratory.

Placement Experience

It?s pretty good. You can get placed in hospitals, medical companies, pharmaceutical companies. Also in food industries where they need a microbiologist. Have visited Raheja hospital and mapro industry. All the micro students get jobs mostly.

College Events

We had a lot of fests. You can participate in many events that take place conducted by different departments. It?s open to everyone who is interested. There were many projects that you can make related to your field of interest. Awards certificates for the same were also provided

Campus Life

It is good. The lab has all the equipment?s you need to perform the experiments mentioned in the syllabus. The college has a pretty good library as well. You can find most of the books you need specially related to your course. Infrastructure of the college is also pretty good.

YCCE College : My Experience

Placement Experience:

The placements are good in the YCCE college as compared to other colleges in Nagpur. From seventh semester the students are eligible for the campus reqruitments. The companies that offer placements in YCCE are Microsoft, TCS, Infosys, wipro, Persistent etc. The highest package is around 24 LPA and the average package is around 5 LPA. Around 70-80% students get placed every year in the college. My plans after getting the degree is to get a secure job and spent time with family.

Placements in my college are decent but not very high. students usually become eligible from the final year and few companies visit for roles like accounting assistant, sales, customer service. The average package is usually around Rs.2LPA-Rs.3LPA.

placements start in 7th - 8th semester . Companies like wipro cisco and TCs etc visit. Average package is 4-5 LPA , and highest I could say 9 to 10 LPA .. my plans would be- if not got high paying job on campus I will try off campus too..

The placements in my college are pretty good considering the Fact that mostly its the Top 2000-3000 students from Maharashtra that make it to this college. The average Package offered in the college is Around 11LPA while the highest package last year was around 48LPA. The names of the Top companies that have recruited students from my college include Adobe, Amazon and Mastercard. The placement percentage from the past few years has been above 90%. My plans after getting the Degree is either to continue my Cricket Career as a Proffesional or to become a Commercial Pilot.
