Remarks

Reputation of the college was impressive. They are providing pretty decent educational facilities and the faculty members are very friendly at large. And most important part is that the campus is totally ragging-free.

Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus is pretty much updated and designed keeping mind the demand in the outer world.And they try their best to provide industrial exposure to the fellow students and according to me it is quite good. But the best part about the college is the faculty members for sure. Such friendly and knowledgable are truly blessing for the students.They are always available whenever one will need and they will clear their doubts.They always try to be there for the students as and when needed in every way possible.

Placement Experience

It is pretty much decent and every year good companies visit the college for recruitment purpose. Although, in the recent past average companies are arriving but faculty and officials are trying to improve it.

College Events

Almost every other month cultural events takes place within the college. It also has a dance and drama group of it's own which participate in many a no. of prestigious competions and events so one can easily join the group. In the college fest which takes place every year and also the other events one can participate to showcase their talent in the other fields beside study.

Campus Life

The college has a ground of its own which is available for sports.Wi-fi is avaailable but one must ask for it if needed for academic purpose.The library is pretty large and different,updated and informative books are available much to the delight of the fellow students. In all the laboratories, the equipments are clean and helpful foe the practical learning.

My Experience at TPI as a 3rd Year Diploma Undergrad

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are good. Big names are associated with TPI for campus placements. But for Computer Science students, very few companies arrive, that too with very less salaries. (not worth it). It is generally reccomendable if you can do a Btech is come college and work on your skills there, your employbility gets higher. Highest package from Computer Science is 20 LPA (off-campus) and lowest package is 1.8 LPA (on-campus). Generally on campus placements range from 2 to 3 LPA.

Niper Kolkata: from starting to end

Placement Experience:

2nd year students are eligible for the campus placement. Sai, Hetero, mendine, dr. Reddys etc companies visities for the campus placement. Offers ranges from 5-12 lpa. 60% students gets placed, 10% goes for higher studies and others get job off campus in my department. Other departments has 100% placement. My plans are pHd from Niper as it provides vast knowledge and instrumental exposure.

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . And wipro , windows, tcs , siemens , tata like companies come to our college for placement. Core students are also got placed but many of them goes for hihger studies.

My College Experience Uncovered.

The main reason behind choosing the college over other colleges is it's electrical department's history. The electrical department has received many awards, certificates for the projects development. There was a time when the college had 120 students in the electrical department. Making it one of the highest in the state.
