Top 5 of the state. Govt aided college. serene atmosphere. good campus life. no uniform. less strict. very good faculty labs etc. good civil engineering dept. no class on public holidays and Saturdays. somewhat near from home and since not selected by colleges rated above this
Course Curriculum Overview
Syllabus is now updated but am not sure about the quality industrial example experience is provided.faculty will help around everything you need if it is at their disposal. Civil,mechanical and electrical dept are rich with faculty and lab quality but placements are much high for electronics and cs engineering.
Placement Experience
Most are IT companies recuritment for core dept are less eventhough there are some. placement process is conducted by training and placement cell.alumni networking and job refferals are good, not great.entreprenuer cell in college is still in starting days of its course
College Events
There is annual technical and cultural fest every academic year.These are national level events.students from all the part can come.usually students come.from.south of the country.participation is very high.technical fest is conducted for two days.arts fest is for three days.these are one of the big events of the state itself.also there are bunch ofother technical events and activities that happen all around the year.
Campus Life
Sports facilities are excellent. you have a gym, playgrounds, cricket ground, basketball courts, tennis court, volleyball court, indoor volleyball and basketball courts. you have main library iver two floors and dept libraries also. there is no shortage of books or publishments. labs are all fully equipped. one of the best in the state for that fact. excellent lab coaches also. wifi is available 24*7. but access is limited to certain web sites only.
