I had taken IIT JEE, AIEEE 2. in AIEEE 29000 and not selected in IITJEE3. This is the best college that suits my rank and branchit is based on purely AIEEE rank and merit basis and has its form name jac which is to be filled to take the admission.

The course is fine not too easy having the course like thermodyanamics, chemical reaction engineering, mass transfer etc, all are based on the chemical engineeing basics and concepts.

Many companies came here like reliance, hmel, Infosys, Mu sigma, Petronet and many more. Stipend is different for different companies as they offer according their own rules.

Companies are: 1.reliance about 5.5 lakh, 2. hmel about 6 lakh, 3. infosys about 3.5 lakh, 4. petronet about 7 lakh and many more.

Many events are being held in university and collegeas college is under the university panjab university so university events and festivals also included where students can participate and organise. Any event in college is cyanide held in feb. and various events in university like agaaz, jhankaar , etc

Fees is nominal only rs 15000/- per year as it is nomilise by the government i.e fifteen thousand is tution fees and hostel fees is also nominal which is rs 550 per month and food diet is rs 30 per diet which is also cheap and affordable.

There are scholarsip available to person which are economically backward and also there is quota for them in admission and hostel and scholarship is also provided in hostel and tution fees for econmically backward student.

There is more female than male i.e. more no. of girls than boys. There are annual function in hostel and total of two parties in hostel. There are socities on anti ragging and on female protection and on student rights and demand. There are inter college and inter hostem matches of various sports and many workshop on engineering is also held.

Hostel facilities is good including canteen and mess in every hostel . every hostel has sitting for one, two and three person. Mess food is cheap and fine. There is also pg nearby of average rent of rs 6500/- month including food which also fine.

Alumini is motivating and there is alumini meet every year at end of december where student can interact to them to have some experience and also seniors are helpful and motivating.the assist in your studies .

It is a balnced structure where lab are balnaced in each semester so that one cannot feel exhausted . Exam are twice in year known as semester and labs are mainly 2 to 3 per semester.

The faculty is good and motivating , as it is a government college so one has to put his effort towards studies as faculty is highly educated and will try to solve the problem of any student.
