Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very wide with a focus on both Indian and world politics and International Relations. The classes of the timings were not that harsh and we had time for other stuff as well like internships.

Placement Experience

Flipkart, Spicejet and Mariott are some of the comapines that have frequently visited the college. There aren't enough internships provided and we usually had to find ourselves for such opportunities on LinkedIn.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The first year fees for the Ba course is Rs 3280 and I think its quite affordable if someone wants to seek a decent education. The facilities that are provided by the college are also at par with the fees.

Campus Life

There are various competitions that the college initates and various guest lectures are also organized for the same. There is no discrimination in terms of race and religion and students usually gel with each other.

Admission

The admission for all the undergraduate courses is based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examinations. The admission forms are available online and there is also a separate criteria for masters programme.

The faculty of the college is really qualified and highly experienced in what they do. They've been in this profession since a long time now and are always motivated to teach and get things done. Same attitude they gave to us.

Placement Experience:

I'm not sure but I think from 3rd year we will be eligible for placements. There are many finance companies, banks like HDFC, SBI, Canara,etc... & companies like TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Deloitte, PWC,etc.... The highest package last year was like 9.64 LPA & in the year before it was 10 LPA while the average is around 2-2.5 LPA. Around 20% of the total strength gets placement. Even only few % of the total strength applies for the placements. My plan is to take a placement if I can or if not then off campusing and then gather work experience & do MBA later which will give me very benifits.

From Third semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. The companies like P360, EY, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, Neutanix, BinaryWorks and few more visited our college for placements and mostly 15 to 20 offers were made Highest package was around 5 to 6 lpa 50% students were placed I am now preparing for govt jobs and side by side also applying for offcampuses. I have also given CUET for pursuing M. Tech

The hustles and joys of a college life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had chosen this course because of the Media and the lab facility, and my desire to understand the entire course in journalism and mass communication. The course that I took gave a bit more theoretical aspects rather than the practical ones. The practical ones were a bit less compared to theory ones. The areas I would suggest for improvement would be to encourage more assignments and provide more internship facilities to the students. The frequency of the exams for me was okay, and it was moderate, not difficult.

Studentsbecome eligible for placements from 7th semester. Various companies such as TCS, Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Godrej, etc. come for placements. Earlier many offers used to come however in the recent years the number of offers made have reduced significantly. highest package comes around 10 to 11 lakhs per annum with average being 4-5 lakhs per annum. I have kept my options open after completion of degree in doing further studies that is Mtech or getting into a job whichever seems appropriate at the situation.

Students are eligible for campus placements from 7th sem. The names of comanies visited are TCS, Infosys, Capegimini,Tech mahindra etc. Some students Got 2 offer laters . Highest packages last year was 47 LPA (off Campus) 27LPA ( on campus). Average pakage was 5-6Lpa. The job role is Software Development. Percentage of Students Got placement is 92-95% In my Deoartment. Other is Around 70_90%. My plans to take placement from product based company.

I love computer science so I chose this department. The teaching in this department is very good and the labs are also very good.
