Speciality PG course at KMIO

There is no information available on the curriculum on the official website. I surveyed other sources and came across an entire list of the syllabus in each semester. Each semester entails a long list of curriculum that needs to be finished by the student and professor.

I have not come across any placement cell in the college. Too focused on medical studies, the only internship I could possibly engage in was with medical companies and firms however, they would prefer second or third years over first years.

Rs.1.33 Lakhs was not a small amount for my family to pay per year. Due to this reason, they had to break their Fixed deposit of approximately 3 lakhs that covered my education for the next three years of the course.

There were times when the exhaustive studying would get on my nerves so, I resigned to sports whenever I wanted to distract my attention. In this process, I also managed to win few competitions in the college.

The alumni network is yet to be formed. Unfortunately, I have not come across any alumni who has made it big for himself after graduating from the Institute. Most of them are either still into practicing medical or have taken up job offers in a newly established medical hospital.

There are 4 seats available for my course that come under All India Quota. Through passing the entrance exam and successfully going through the counselling conducted at All India Level, I got selected for my course. The competition is on a large scale and that's the reason I had to study day in day out for the preparation for the entrance examination.

The faculty of the college for my course were very supportive and well trained. I could create a good rapport with them as well as found their lectures mandatory to attend as they manage to cover a great aspect of the syllabus in a single lecture.
