My College Review

Course curriculum is up to date. Our college follows a mix of theory based and case based approach of pedagogy. There are six terms and every term we have to give mid term and final examinations. There are also some quizes in between.

The placements are one of the best any college can offer. Being one of the attracts recruiters from all over the world. All the big brands and firms are here for recruitment. Our college provides internship opportunities as well. Internships are for a period of 8-10 weeks where we are exposed to the industry.

The fee structure is similar to all the other IIMs. MBA in India is generally an expensive degree and our college too lies in this category. The overall fee of the two year course is around rupees 6 lakhs excluding the 5 lakh rupees which you have to pay for for hostel.

There are a plethora of extracurricular activities that can be pursued in our college. One can become a part of any committee, interest group or clubs here. One can take part in any sport also. The college is lacking in terms of sports infrastructure to some extent but the infrastructure projects are in process right now.

The college has its own Alumni Meet every year where many alumni from various industries come together to impart knowledge on the students. The senior junior network is also present here. Every senior is assigned a junior who he helps throughout the 1st term including preparing the student's CV, and informing him/her about the complete Summer Internship Process.

I got admission to the college on the basis of marks scored in CAT examination. The career aptitude test offers admission to the management courses and this college also accepts CAT scores . After these the interview round is also conducted.

The faculty are veterans in their field having both industry as well as teaching experience. Every professor has graduated from a well reputed management college and has prior teaching experience. They also conduct research and go for business conclaves.
