Remarks

Great facilities were offered during the course, also the management and the teaching staff is also of a very high quality, that made everything quite easy and smooth for those 3 years of college.

Entrance Preview

Joint Entrance Examination(JEE).The course being offered was very different from the usual courses being offered by other entrance examinations.Certain interest in Kitchen and cooking helped me to make the choice for the course. And the college being No.1 in the country made it very easy to select.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course curriculum was very simple and easy. Their were some core subjects that were their throughout the 3 year course and certain subjects which were their on a semester basis. Practicals also were scheduled accordingly along with the theory classes and the syllabus was also divided as per the betterment of the course.

Internships Opportunities

College helps the students a lot for their internship. They bring in different companies to take interviews and also get certain companies from abroad on board for the internship programs. The Stipend offered during the internship course is the basic stipend and varies from companies to companies as per their policies.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placements and job opportunities are 100% assured.Too many companies come for campus placements, and job assurance was also there. Packages offered were also competitive just like the courses offered.

4

Trade Fairs were conducted - Different food preparation were offered to the outside public, the food was made by the students only in the college kitchens and it was offered in the restaurants in the college only.Sports Competition- Different games were included such as cricket, football, badminton, chess, table tennis, dance events, singing events, art competitions.Group competitions- Treasure hunt, sack race, spoon and lemon race, etc were also conducted.Any many more events and activities were conducted.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quite feasible since the college was a government college, hence the fee structure was not that high or expensive. Also the college being in Mumbai, the fee structure in comparison of that was very feasible and low.

Fees and Financial Aid

Not Applicable. But the college offers Industrial Training which can help the students in terms of international exposure. The college has certain tie ups with hotels abroad basically in Dubai, where they send students for their internship that is very helpful in gaining international exposure.

Campus Life

4.5

Everything in that aspect was upto the standards.Their were competitions that were held every year that included sports tournament, trade fairs, dance, music competitions, art and cultural competitions were also conducted. Hostel facilities and the food offered was very good.Everything was maintained properly and was proper observance was there.Gym facilities along with sports facilities were also offered. Wardens were also very supportive.

Alumni/Alumna

Very supportive and easy going. Helpful and accommodating as well.Seniors treated us in a very good manner, they didn't make us feel as if we were away from our family and home, they treated us as their younger siblings only.

Exam Structure

Exam structure was quite good, as the internal exams used to get over within 2-3 days. On the internal examination days there would be half day exams and half day lectures and practicals.Internal practicals were scheduled quite well. All subject practicals were scheduled on different days.Extertnal exams datesheet and the syllabus was well over and received in advance and was their good time to maintain and finish up all the portions for the examinations.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have been thoroughly impressed with the course curriculum for its relevance and comprehensive approach to both theory and practice. One major aspect that influenced my decision to choose this course was its emphasis on practical application and real-world problem solving. The curriculum integrates current industry trends and case studies, which immediately appealed to me because it offers not only theoretical knowledge but also valuable hands-on experiences. The structure of the curriculum prepares students well for real-world applications and further academic pursuits. For instance, the course modules are designed to build a strong foundational understanding while progressively introducing complex topics. This approach ensures that students are capable of tackling challenging scenarios in professional settings and are well-prepared for advanced research or academic opportunities. The practical assignments, group projects, and internships provide direct exposure to industry practices and enable us to apply what we learn in a realistic context. Despite these strengths, there is always room for improvement. The course curriculum could further benefit from increased interactive teaching methods, such as more frequent workshops and peer-to-peer learning sessions. Incorporating regular seminars by industry experts would also add practical insights. Additionally, the frequency and timing of exams sometimes feel overwhelming. Although the exam difficulty level is fair and encourages a deep understanding of the material, scheduling them away from major project deadlines could alleviate some unnecessary stress. Overall, I find the curriculum to be robust and well-rounded. With a few adjustments in teaching methods and assessment schedules, it has the potential to become even more effective in preparing students for both professional challenges and advanced academic endeavors. In summary, the course curriculum excels in providing a balanced educational.
