Remarks

Undoubtedly the best college in the city to pursue Masters in Business Administration degree.The college has excellent infrastructure,highly qualified faculty members ,well maintained labs and other requirements are also satisfactory.The placements are high paid pacakges in reputated companies.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is full of case studies, researching topics,practical learning and gaininge expertise on various aspects of corporate sectors.The semester pattern is followed by the college to take exams and it is done after every 6 months.The students have two semesters to study all the spects of corporate world and then two semesters the focus is on gaining specialisation in the subject of their choice.

Placement Experience

The college has excellent placement opportunities for students and the packages are generally of high paid posts.The students get a lot of exposure as the college provides excellent opportunities for students to broaden their experience and learning scopes.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The college fees is 7.6lakhs per annum and it is highly expensive for students who come from weaker economic sections.The facilities provided and the exposure given in the college are however worth every penny paid as fees.

Campus Life

The gender ratio is equal and no discrimation or domination takes place in the college.The college focuses on the growth of students academically as well as non-academically by conducting various extra curricular events and activities for them.The national days and festivals are also given equal importance.

Admission

For getting enrolled in the MBA course,a student has to clear GMAT and the IIFT Written Test after which there are three more rounds that are Essay writing ,GD and PI.The college grants admission only if the student scores really good in all these and is able to get through the competition which is very high.

Faculty

I would rate the faculty 5/5 . They are complete experts in the subject of their interest.Extremely qualified and very cooperative in their approach of teaching and supportive for students to guide and understand them whenever needed.They are literally amazing.

Likes

One of the things i liked the most was the quality of lecture given by the professors
The campus is very spacious the college has every facility
A fully equipted studio and lab for Journalism students

Dislikes

Things i disliked was the most has to be the locality the college is really nice but the locality is a bit shady

I always wanted to take up Journalism as a career and the thing which caught my attention in this college is that they have a fully equipted studio room and other colleges may have one but the students even publish there own news report here it prepars us very well for the real world

Supportive Faculty - The professors are highly qualified, approachable and always willing to help students
Free wifi support - There are free wifi support for both student and faculty
Fee Structure - It is very affordable and low compared to other colleges in the region

Dislikes

Placement support is below average, and most studnets have to apply for off campus jobs independently, which is really pathetic in the era of ai where getting a job as a fresher is so difficult
There is no dedicated support or placment cell initiative to help studnets land meaningful summer internships or any kind of internships

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements starting from the 7th semester. For placement drives, we have to visit the main campus, Techno Main Salt Lake (TMSL). Since students from other Techno India campuses and branches also participate, the competition is extremely high. In the 2025–2026 academic year, fewer companies visited. Only two companies, Dronahost and WishCare, visited our specific campus directly. The remaining drives—mostly service-based companies like TCS and EY, along with a few startups—were conducted at the main campus. Furthermore the selection process of those startups is quite rigorous often consisting of upto 5 rounds of interview, two technical rounds with two technical interviews, and HR round My plans after getting the degree is either pursue an MBA or preparing for govt jobs

The everyday journey

Likes

I liked the campus . Their people and faculties are too great , they are also helpfull
The other thing i liked here is the play ground where students play with full of their energy and many game events are organised ocationally
The other thing i liked is the library where everyone use to study silently with poking others

Dislikes

Bad benches , like benches are too small to be fitted in our class I
In our department ac doesn’t work properly

Nothing specific just the campus attracted me Curriculum is preparing me for the real world approach and its doing good enough the academic pursuits is good Teachers should teach in a good way so that every student should understand Frequently the timing of exam is 3 hrs but sometimes it takes 1 hrs

Faculties are helpful and kind and the classroom environment is healthy
Classroom, labs and libraries have proper infrastructure
Certificates are provided for participating in conferences or extracurricular activities

Placement Experience:

Placement is provided in final year . Average package offered is 3 to 4 lpa . Paid internship is provided in 3rd year and the placement percentage is more or less ok. After complication i will either pursue Msc or look for a job.

Likes

The campus is big and full of greenery with the vibrant feel of nature.
The students of the same batch are friendly and helpful.
The teacher's are friendly and helpful. They do provide helpful recommendations for the betterment of your future.

Dislikes

The seniors are overly harsh when it comes to 1st year.
The infrastructure could be worked on. The college lacks renovation.
The hostel does require everyday cleaning and renovation as well as the campus.

Placement Experience:

I don't know much about this but I guess from the sixth semester the students are eligible for campus placements. This year a student from AEIE got a package of 11.2 lacs per annum and the average is around 4 lacs per annum.

Likes

The faculties are very good and very active. They are always ready to help
Campus is very beautiful and nice. Campus may be a little bit smaller but it is beautiful.
Environment is very good. And have a natural's beauty

Dislikes

Location is a thing which may difficult to find out.
Number of faculties are small quantity due to the college is newly established
Because of the college is new so therefore not huge like any NIT or IIT

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There many service based companies visited like TCS ,Cognizant, wipro, Infosys. Almost 60-70% student placed in on campus. Highest package offered by TCS 9-10lpa and Cognizant 6-7lpa wipro 6-7lpa infosys 10lpa etc. 60-70% student getting placement I will go for placement

Adamas university : Path of success

Placement Experience:

The University Provides Placements options for the students from the 3rd Semester onwards. For the Department of Geography Companies like - GeoDesign and Research PVT. Limited, Wipro, Acadecraft Pvt limited, Cactus etc. are there as recruiters with an average package of 3 LPA. University takes a target to 100 % placement among then almost 60% are placed and rest of the students mainly go to the research field.

Placement Experience:

Since the syllabus is quite up to date, students learn a lot and are way ahead of their age group students. Most of the students qualify for placements with attractive packages. The university also encourages internships that carry credits in their academic report.

IIFT Kolkata Internship Process Details

IIFT takes its own exam which is called the IIFT entrance test. The eligibility criteria for the exam are the same as the CAT. The application form is 2500/- and the exam usually happens after a week of CAT You will get your result in the month of Feb and interview shortlist in the same month. The interview happens after a month gap from the shortlist. Before the interview, they send you some questions (HR Questions) which you have to submit 15 days before the interview, and the interview is based on that. Try to form your answers on that. And deliver it, the interviews are easy. Usually they say the cutoff is 96-99ile but this is for GEM, but remember that you are not a GEM (if you are nothing can be done about it), so the shortlist would come for people with even 85+ile so, be prepared and people convert at this percentile....Read More

IIFT A multidimensional learning

I passed the IIFT 2022 exam administered by NTA. Between September 21 and October 30, 2021, applications could be submitted online. The application form cost 2500 rupees. A minimum 3-year Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with a minimum GPA of 50% is required by the IIFT to enrol students in the MBA(IB) programme. Ten per cent of the seats were reserved for newly introduced EWS reservations. On December 5, 2021, the exam was administered. For Gen 95 percentile with 100 marks was the cutoff for the Gen category for an interview call. Due to a conflict in the exam's schedule, students experienced difficulties when the IIFT exam, which was scheduled to be given on December 5, 2021, had to be redone in some centres due to a technical software fault....Read More

An outstanding experience

After graduating engineering with 75% grades, I decided to do MBA from a highly reputed college. i then applied for many colleges including IIFT. Firstly a written test was conducted where the candidate has to qualify to move forward with the procedure. after i qualified the written test, i was later called for further round like essay writing, group discussion and personal interview.
