Course Curriculum Overview

My course was MSc. Botany which was 2 years course and included study of plant life. It included scientific study of plant, fungi, algae and their modes of growth, reproduction, development, diseases and evolutionary relationships among taxonomic groups. The course had numerous labs along with theory classes.

Placement Experience

We did not receive any placement or internship offers from the college. We had to gear up ourselves for employment. Students are employed in various positions like Content Analyst - Botany, Area Business Manager - Bio-products, Marketing Manager, Teacher & Lecturer etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure can be afford by any student. They can easily find access to all education as the course is feasible. The students are provided with numerous scholarship benefits. You can apply for the scholarship at the beginning of academic year.

Campus Life

Numerous activities like college fest, world environment day, seminars, tournaments, debates, music competitions are organised. There were many students participating from every department and performing together.

Admission

The college offers online admission. Students have to visit the college website to fill the form and fill the necessary information. If the information filled is inappropriate, the form will be rejected. The students also have to submit the photocopy of qualifying Marksheets at the time of admission.

Faculty

They used a variety of presentation styles and methods and broke up each period into at least three different activities. They Changed the approach to meet new situations and tried new and different ideas periodically. They constantly kept searching for new ideas, approaches and methods.

My university

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am a science student and always been interested in medicines so this course is quite interesting and yes it's tough . The struggle is real as the class starts at 10am in the morning and lasts upto 4pm minimum which teaches us to be patient and deal with things nicely. Some subjects are quite difficult for me but the 2 sessional examination before the final examination really helps a lot in the preparation.

Placement Experience:

From the 5th year students become eligible for placement even many got PPO before completion of course. Khaitan & CO once visited in the campus , highest package is not disclosed , average can be 800000 per year . This year many got PPO . My plan after graduation to do LLM and prepare for higher level exams .

Placement Experience:

For Campus placement students become eligible during the 3rd year of their course. Apollo hospitals came for the interview and more than 15 students were offered for placement. My plan is to get a work experience and go for further studies or to work abroad.

It is good but not the best

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always had a interest regarding business administration so i decided to take this course.This course will help me to gain experience regarding how a business works in the real world and also will help me to face the real skilled world. The teaching could be done in a more interactive way and also in a advanced way like using smart boards. Exams are held on an interval of about 2 months and their difficulty is quite moderate.

My opinions on PRAGJYOTISH COLLEGE

Course Curriculum Overview:

The aspect that influenced me to choose this course is , computer science. I'm interested in coding and programming. The curriculum lacks in preparing you for real-world applications as it focuses on mostly theory part . The improvement they can do is , by teaching students practically more and theoretically less. Because coding requires practice. The difficulty level is average , so frequency and timing of exams are fine .

All you have to know about Handique Girls' college

I applied to cotton University and also DU.. I didn get in cotton ...but i got in DU with sociology..since i wanted to go for psychology, I didnt go to DU. I didn't make it to Cotton because of cut off marks. Getting into psychology is really tough especially in this generation where people are more aware about mental health. The cut off was really high 96 % in cotton and Idk about DU it varies from clg to clg. The admission process in Handique girls' college is okayish. Runs smoothly. You just need to have necessary documents and also can ask the staff for any queries or doubts. For Handique the cut off is average. If you score above 90% you'll definitely get admission in psychology. Bu then again the cut off varies every year. This year political science cut off was very high in every college. So even with 80% getting into Pol sc in Handique was not possible....Read More
