- The college place. Because the transportation around the college is very good.
- Toi many shops are there. You get almost everything near the college
- Class starting timing is good. It starts at 8 AM there's less traffic then.
Dislikes
- Infrastructure needs to be improved too. There's not even a auditorium in the college for functions.
- Some teachers behaviours should also be improved.
Course Curriculum Overview
My courses BSc honours in physics I like the Physics subject very much therefore I am pursuing this course in this college and the teaching is good but somehow things should be made easy for students to understand and if a topic is being started it should be started from the very beginning so that everyone can understand not from the middle of the topic and there are two exams in one semester one is sessional exam and the other one is final exam
Fees and Financial Aid
My course is a 4 year course. There is no detailed fee structure. Only the Per year fees is shown. Per year fees is 7,480 there's no extra cost needed and it's same for all category. There is no scholarship available in the college. The fees is not increasing.
Campus Life
As I have taken admission in 2025 August in the college. I don't know much about the annual and technical festivals that are held in our college but freshman social and farewell were held in September. Annual sports week held in January. There are lot of books and journals available in the library. Some classroom has digital board. Sports and extracurricular activities are offered in campus such as basketball taekwondo.
Admission
I applied for many colleges apart from this one but I couldn't get into the other colleges I got a chance in handique girls' college therefore I chose it. The colleges I applied for has very good campus than handique girls college and more reputation. I couldn't make it to other colleges because of my marks my marks were lesser than required for the other colleges. The admission process of my college is that you have to apply in samarth portal then on a specific date the selected candidates name list will be provided. Admission are taken according to the marks of class 12th. according to that you can take your admission or there are other chances also called as spot admission you go to the college and the college authorities will take admission according to marks. Cutoffs are generally around 80%
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is quite good because there is only 25 students in our department so it is really easy for us to ask questions to our teachers. Student faculty relationships are also good but accept some teachers rest of them are very good as always there are some teachers and every school and colleges whose behaviours are not acceptable the faculty is or approachable except some as I said earlier and I like most of the teachers I cannot name only one the marking schemes are divided into one marks to marks 3 marks 4 marks and 5 marks as well
Night Life
There are a lot of hangout spots around the college. College has also cafeteria library. Late night activities around your college is generally safe but not too lately. Hostels are also not so far from the college. Some hangout places- Old town cafe Cafe nausea Delisioso Dighalipukhuri park Uzanbazar ghat And yes the locality is generally safe
