Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is far the best among every top university. The structure is perfectly designed and distributed equally in every semester. It includes immense amount of practicals and assignments.

Placement Experience

The placement record is exemplary almost everyone in my batch was placed in top-notch companies and were offered a salary package of around 7-8 lakh per annum. The companies visited the college are L&t, EY, TCS, and more.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees are expensive for the B.Tech course which costs around 8.34 lakh rs for four years which includes registration fees, examination fees, and other charges. The student can participate in scholarship programs run by the college.

Campus Life

The college organizes various extracurricular activities in the college such as sports activities i.e. basketball, volleyball, football, and more. The college has a well-maintained library, digital classrooms, etc.

Admission

The admission IITPKD in B.tech entirely depends upon the entrance examination JEE advanced. The student must have 75% of marks in 10+2 also JEE rank will be among the 1,50,000 to enroll in the college.

All the professors are exceptionally great and helpful. They are well-knowledge which provides us deep insight towards the same also their quality of teaching is impressive which enhances our learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Data Science is a rising field in computer science. It has lots of oppurtunities in todays world and easy compared to other fields, which made me choose data science. The curriculum consist of various computer programming languages including Python, R and so on which are vital in the field of data science. There are also experienced faculties for teaching of the programming languages. I personally felt that lab hours are not adequate and also the available hours are also not properly utitlised by some teachers. At the end of each semester we have exams and results are published soon as the exams are over, no lagging compared to other universitites.

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Chemistry is one of the main subject in whole science and it contains practical along with theory.I preffered this subject because I don't really into bookish learning.It offers skilled learning also.Exam timing was relevant for a paper 2.30 hours and 60 marks for main subject and 80 mark for language.

Is engineering here worth it?

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
