Course Curriculum Overview

M.Tech Mechatronics is a full-time 2 year course divided into 4 semesters. The first and the second semesters had subjects related to technical as well as management studies. The final year has specific subjects mechanical and analog engineering.

Placement Experience

There is a designated placement cell that works to bring companies to our college for recruitment. Companies like Accenture, Azure, EY come for placements and hire students and provide great annual packages.

College Events

A lot of events were celebrated in NITTTR including major festivals like Holi and Diwali, as well as annual sports and cultural fests. Students actively participated in a lot of inter college and intra college competitions.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure for M.tech was close to 73,000 per year. It was pretty cost affective with respect to the various other colleges providing the same level of education. This included the tuition fees only.

Campus Life

Sports and culture are strong pillars of NITTTR. Our college believes that students should excel in a lot of other fields than just education. We have designated clubs for extracurricular activities and also get additional credits.

Admission

To secure admission in NITTTR, KOLKATA you will need to pass the PGET exam designed by MAKAUT. The interview will happen after filling out the form. You will get a college depending upon the merit list.

Faculty

The faculty is very reputed and knowledgeable. They have a hands-on experience working in the industry with big companies. They gave us case studies from their work experience to help us to get an idea of practical problems.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are good. Big names are associated with TPI for campus placements. But for Computer Science students, very few companies arrive, that too with very less salaries. (not worth it). It is generally reccomendable if you can do a Btech is come college and work on your skills there, your employbility gets higher. Highest package from Computer Science is 20 LPA (off-campus) and lowest package is 1.8 LPA (on-campus). Generally on campus placements range from 2 to 3 LPA.

Niper Kolkata: from starting to end

Placement Experience:

2nd year students are eligible for the campus placement. Sai, Hetero, mendine, dr. Reddys etc companies visities for the campus placement. Offers ranges from 5-12 lpa. 60% students gets placed, 10% goes for higher studies and others get job off campus in my department. Other departments has 100% placement. My plans are pHd from Niper as it provides vast knowledge and instrumental exposure.

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.

placement is very good in this college many tech giants vist the campus such as google microsoft delloite apple tata steels, thhe average package is about 16 lpa highest is 80lpa approx 148 companes visted this year and total offer for cse is 157 out of 190

our college average package is 600000 per Anum and highest package is 1800000 per Anum according to recent data. and 80% of student got placed . And wipro , windows, tcs , siemens , tata like companies come to our college for placement. Core students are also got placed but many of them goes for hihger studies.
