Remarks
All in all I had a great experience studying at NITTTR. The faculty was amazing and the college taught me a lot in terms of personality development as well. I made so many memories.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum for Manufacturing Engineering was pretty solid. In the first year I had mostly general technical subjects from all domains. But, in the final year the specialisation subjects were added that included manufacturing processes and production.
Placement Experience
NITTTR has a very active placement cell that works hard to arrange internships as well as full time jobs for students. Good companies like Nestle, Godrej, Accenture, etc come for recruitment.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure was pretty nominal and justifiable for a course like M Tech. For my course was close 1.3 lakhs for both years. This included only tuition fees. I had my own accommodation so I am not sure about the hostel feels.
Campus Life
The labs are well equipped and spacious. The practicals are taken very seriously and are fun to do. Sports is given a lot of importance in my college. There are separate teams for football, volleyball, carom etc an there are matches that are head very often. Apart from this there are clubs for dance and music as well.
Hostel Facilities
The infrastructure is great. The class rooms are well equipped with projectors and smart boards. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled 24*7. and has a great mess for food. The campus is extremely safe and clean.
Admission
NITTTR gives preference to students who have score decently in GATE. I was lucky to get shortlisted on the basis of my GATE marks and my graduation marks. The final selection depends on the personal interview.
Faculty
All the professors had a lot of technical knowledge that made it easier for them to explain concepts to the students. Most of them had done their PhD and some of them were doing it simultaneously. The senior professors were the best.
