Course Curriculum Overview

The course duration is for four years and it focuses on the aspects of computer science which develops an understanding of computer software as well as hardware. We have a good facility lab for working and research. Every domain has a guide. The course of our college mainly aims at theoretical knowledge.

Placement Experience

The students of our batch got placed through college placements. Almost 50% of our seniors got placements. Companies like Wipro, Infosys, and Power Grid visited our college to hire students. The highest package offered was Rs. 40,000 per month and the lowest was Rs. 19,500 per month.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure for Engineering has always been an expensive course, to be honest. So this structure is acceptable. We have to pay the admission fees through SBI collect and we have to submit the receipt offline in the admission Brach along with the admission form. There are no additional fees. For B.tech it?s cost me around 1.36 lakhs and for NRI it?s INR 7.75 LAKHS.

Campus Life

In this University so many events celebrated here. Versity week, youth festival, Saraswati puja, Maharam, and the technical festival. Every college under our University participates in this festival. All type of events like dance, drama, games, singing everything is part of this youth festival.

Admission

Students who want admission in 4 years Full-time B.Tech Program should have Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical subject as the third subject combined aggregate minimum of 50% marks in these subjects.MZUEEE is the state level entrance examination conducted by Mizoram University, on the basis of qualifying this exam seat is allotted.

Faculty

Teachers in our college were quite helpful though most of everything was done by students. Most of the teachers were qualified, but some had trouble explaining specific topics. Teaching quality was average for some subjects and excellent for others. Presentations, real-life experience sharing, etc.

Best College Ever I recommended for everyone who are looking for college in North East

Course Curriculum Overview:

I highly recommend because it has a large quantity and quality for a student's looking for government jobs. It teaches me about the things that happen in our social life which is important in my everyday life. Only because of thia course i am able to face this world becase it help me too much for my preparation of Government job exam especially MCS(Mizoram Civil Service) I highly recommend for students who aim IAS. Through this course i get improvements in how to face my everyday life .Its not that hard to answer the exam questions because who have give much time to read as a story can answer easily as much as maximum because this course give me interest as a story.

LIFE AT NIT MIZORAM

Placement Experience:

The placement are good in our college, last year it like 90 percent plus students are placement and avg package is also good it is like around 900000.students from 7 semester are can able to participate in campus placements. The some like juspay, L&T, adani wilnar and many more recruiting our students. Current year highest package is 21LPA. Even I want get a job with high package before completing of my btech.

Overall good to consider college for low rank in jee main.

Placement Experience:

Students from their pre-final year are eligible to sit for placement interviews. Companies like Adobe, Tech Mahindra, Larsen and Toubro, Wipro, Tcs,etc. visited previous year. The highest placement was 14.5 lpa with average being 9.8 lpa. Total 75 companies visited and 86.7 percent students were placed.

I have always been fascinated by history from a young age. From ancient history to guptas , maurays till modern india , I always wanted to learn more but previous school made it more like a by heart system. However after I attend this college , with teachers giving complete information and sources , I really began to like it more. This has encouraged me a lot to actually prepare for competitive exams or studying for masters at abroad . However , there needs to be some improvements like detailing the time and names by teachers when explaining a topic and also express their ideas on them as it is really important to have an idea on the other side. I chose this course because I wanted to pursue higher studies in computer science and since I did'nt take maths in 11 and 12, I could not go for btech computer science so I landed in this collage. The male to female ratio is bad about 1.5:1. Qualification of the teachers are mediocre most of them are btech(electrical), btech (computer science) graduate some of them are master graduate and none of them are phd graduate and as for the teaching style, it is very bad most of them rush to complete the syllabus not even stopping to explain.

I choose this university because there was 0no another option for me since my rank was very law. University have all subjects faculty of first year and about another years I also don't know. Most of the faculty members are cool. The exam paper is very easy but many students have back due to not doing serious studies

Life in mizoram University

I got admission through the competitive exam CUET PG. Also mizoram University have separate entrance exam. Through mizoram University entrance exam they will take 30 students and through CUET PG they only take 10 students. And I choose mizoram University because this was the only central university which was providing MSc Clinical psychology and I want to complete my masters in a central university. And because of that mizoram University was my first priority. And for me other central universities was a back up plan. Now in central university of Andhra Pradesh they are providing MSc Clinical psychology. They started it this year and the course is very expensive. For admission process in mizoram University the cutoff can't be predicted because it depends on the first rank student in the cuet pg entrance. Since it's central university, the competition for getting into uni is more. The application for admission is given in the website itself. There are reservations for SC ST OBC . One can get admitted into college by 2 process, either with cuet marks or writing the exam held by uni.
