Pradesp Kumar's Review On College Of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry - [CVSC & AH], Aizawl

FVSc& ah is the best college in the study it is 12 th position in india according to icar. As It is situated in kashmir is most beautiful place like heaven and most beautiful scene. There is good interection between junior and senior. My college Admission is based on neet marks and Skaust entrance test . My score is 566 & rank is 38202 in 2020-21 . But the cut off for general in 3rd was 532 marks .

My first choice is MBBS for which I have tried. But in 2020 cutoff is too high so I choosen BVSc&Ah. Here is good interaction between students and teachers. All Teachers are well qualified as all are PhD holders. The teaching style is very nice after every theory class there is a practical class so it is interesting to study for example: after study heart, every 2 students dissect the heart of Ox with the professor so everyone can understand things very clearly. There is 3 internal exam in a year out of which best of 2 numbers will be added and 1 external exam with practical

There is a one-year rotatory compulsory internship for which the college provides a stipend. The internship is at the college hospital, other state college hospitals etc. The internship is compulsory for every student for completing a degree.

The college fee is nominal for every family it is around 30000 college fee in 1st year and 11000 hostel fee for a year and for mess fee it is around 3000 . Those who get admission through VCI get a scholarship through icar of around 3000 which is approx 36000 in a year. There is no campus placements but there are enough opportunity after BVSc&Ah i.e. veterinary corp in army , forest service , veterinary doctor through state PSC exam. There is compulsory 1 year rotatory internship after 4 th year for which stipend given .

The campus is amazing & lovely in between the mountains. But It is situated approx 10-15 km outside srinagar in ganderbal district so can not go for. Watching movie or in markets. And college is also it's restrictions of timing. Campus infrastructure is well s and well maintained . A big library is there so every book related to veterinary is present and a canteen is also present. Gym is also there . Sports facillity is also good . one week sports week is organised by the college where all sports played by the students and teachers.

There is 3 hostel for boys 2 for ug and 1 for pg which is approx 200-300 m from college and 500 m from girls college . For 2 students 1 room is alloted by hostel proctor and hostel fee is also submitted to proctor. In room 2 almirah , 2 bed , 2 study table , 2 chair provided and rooms condition is good and fully ventilated . Food for nonveg is ok but for veg is not good because it is the first batch of all india student hope it will change After some time.
