College of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry is a private college situated in the Anand District of state Gujarat. The college was established by the Government of Gujarat in 1964 and was affiliated with the Sardar Patel University. In 1972, the college was then affiliated with the Gujarat Agricultural University. Currently, the college is constituted with Anand Agricultural University. Indian Council Of Agricultural Research has given their accreditation to the college.
The College offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in many subjects of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry. This facility sees 9684 cases of medical and surgical Treatments. All clinical diagnosis of Cows, Buffaloes, and other animals also takes place. The patient's home is a complex that has space for 16 large animals,12 small animals,50 birds.
The college campus has in total 5 undergraduate boys hostel, 1 postgraduate boys hostel, and 2 girls hostel. The hostels also have mess facilities and TV rooms. The rooms are cleaned every day and all the facilities required are available.
A reading room is also available on campus for students. Computers are available in the room which can be used by the students in their free time to study their preferred subjects.
The college also has many research stations on campus used for basic and complex research. Livestock Research Station, Poultry Research Station, Animal Nutrition Research Station, Reproductive Biology Research Unit, Advanced Molecular Genetic Lab, Frozen Semen Laboratory, Wild Animals Disease Diagnostic Lab, and Livestock Farm Complex are available on campus.

To become eligible for this course you have to pass the neet ug exam with a qualifying score. you have to apply for this college by filling admission form and you have to register physically at the college. There are also reservation benefits for the physically disabled.
First, you need to register for the NEET exam conducted by nta then apply for counseling conducted by veterinary counseling of India. VCI Conducted counseling on 15% of seats these are open for all students whether they belong to another state and the remaining 85 % sets are reserved for home state students.
According to me. This college for veterinary in Gujarat is Unique at all, first, I decide to choose this course and then I found this college. My college is good for both practical and theoretical knowledge. After the study, we decide about civil exam and GPSE but our college gives this exam information and preparation from the 3rd year and also its admission process and reporting is easy with less fee. I will call students who want to take veterinary are requested to take admission in my college because of all facilities and good faculties for education.
I want to get admission because I want to live with my loyal animals and treat them so that I choose one of the best college for Veterinary studies.
The college is affiliated to Anand Agricultural University. The syllabus drafted by the University is quite good. I liked the syllabus quite much as it covered all basic methodologies and practices. Apart from University examinations we also had internal evaluations at college.
Our college campus is very clean. Lots of trees are planted in campus. Good vibes from college for the studies or any other activities. Also helpful in adverse condition. Location is also at good place. Away from city.
