Remarks

I thank IIT, Kerala for all the learning opportunities it provided to me .I got lots of inspirations from all the teachers, seniors and batchmates. I had a fantastic college experience and got many career opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum of my college was well organized and structured. The exams were well planned and executed in an efficient manner within the college. The college provided the students with great and knowledgeable study materials

Placement Experience

The placements in my college were quite good. Companies like tata motors, Toyota, Honda, Dell, kpmg, Infosys, Google, etc., visited our college in the last semester and selected the candidates on the basis of merit

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of my college was well affordable. All the things like transportation, food, security, etc., were included in the college fees. Education loans were also provided to students with weak economical backgrounds

Campus Life

The college had great infrastructure and labs, libraries, classrooms, etc., were formed well with latest equipment and technology. The college had numerous societies for extracurricular activities and competitions like NSS, sports, etc.

Admission

After completing my graduation, I decided to pursue post graduation in m.sc from a renowned science college and hence gave the entrance examination and fortunately got shortlisted for admission in IIT, Kerala.

Faculty

The faculty of my college was very good. All the students were given proper guidance by the teachers in every possible aspect. All the teachers were very friendly with the students and encouraged the students to participate in extracurricular activities alongwith managing studies

Course Curriculum Overview:

Data Science is a rising field in computer science. It has lots of oppurtunities in todays world and easy compared to other fields, which made me choose data science. The curriculum consist of various computer programming languages including Python, R and so on which are vital in the field of data science. There are also experienced faculties for teaching of the programming languages. I personally felt that lab hours are not adequate and also the available hours are also not properly utitlised by some teachers. At the end of each semester we have exams and results are published soon as the exams are over, no lagging compared to other universitites.

OUR COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Chemistry is one of the main subject in whole science and it contains practical along with theory.I preffered this subject because I don't really into bookish learning.It offers skilled learning also.Exam timing was relevant for a paper 2.30 hours and 60 marks for main subject and 80 mark for language.

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
