Remarks

Well university was not giving so much attention on engineering structures at that time.

Entrance Preview

I took AIEEE i got ranked 4834. I chosen this college because this college is known deemed university. Electronics and communication branch i am getting in this university so i opt for it.

Course Curriculum Overview

It is very good specially help in public sector related exams. Infact based on course curriculum i cracked the GATE 2005 in 3rd year. I got percentile of 93 in Gate 2005. I am very much satisfied with course curriculum which i got during my B.Tech.

Internships Opportunities

Well during 3rd year we went for self training in BSNL agra. So we didnt got any stipend. I think in this regard university has to do improve as they dont offered any internship and training.

Placement Experience

Well at my time when i was studying placements opportunities was not so much but fortunately 2 company came during my time and in one of company i got the recruitment.

College Events

Inter university Volleyball and cricket. Infact i participated in Inter university volleyball tournament too. Beside this we were haveing inter faculty games like cricket, badmintion,volleyball,chess etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Well university was offering two kind of seats one is free seat in which fee was cheap comparatively to paid seats. But if i compare fees of free seat to other government college or IIT then it is somewhat expensive.

Well as far i know university was not offering such kind of things. But yes at state government level reserved candidate were getting scholarship.

Campus Life

Well i say not so good not so bad. Well Electronics and comm faculty was very good. Labs were average. Computer system were average. Sports activites were good.

Hostel Facilities

Not applicable as we were not haveing this facilities. University was not offering any hostels and mess to engineering students. So in this regards,university to improve.

Alumni/Alumna

We were 2nd batch so dont have so much alumni network. But now i have safter 9 years that many students from university are working in very good and esteemed organisation.

Exam Structure

Exam structure was very good we were getting sufficiient amount of gap in terms of days between 2 consecutive exams.

Faculty

Well Electronics and comm faculty was very good. Other facutly was also good but compared to electronics and communication i find its faculty very much effective. Whenever we got any doubt we were free to contact any members in this faculty.

I choose this course because of its affordability and the teaching quality of this college is good . They helps in choosing the real life application based projects . Teaching methods are impressive but they don't provide notes . We have make notes by attending class regularly. Frequency and timings of exams are of 3 hrs. For each subject . Difficulty level is moderate and students can prepare it well in the gap days also .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because this college is semi government college in Haridwar . And fees are also not so high as compared to other private colleges . Real world applications are there as we have learn alot of knowledge in our first year about that like communication skills , public speaking , webinar and seminar etc. improvement is only needed in the good infrastructure and much more advanced technology should be there to deal with . The timings are of 3hrs in the semester exams and in the sessional it is of 1 hrs . Difficulty level is moderate .

in our college placement is good unless you have Backlogs,less then 75% attendence and the training fee if you dont join the the training fee then you are not allowed to join the placement interviews. those who dont get placement they try off campus for the placement but according to me employbility rate just 6-7 out of 10

Life at Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya (GKV, Haridwar)

I choose this college because it is old esteemed deemed to be university. It is one of the oldest university in India with much good prestige in lists of college. It is internationally recognized good institution as stated by the government of India. It is NAAC accredated and also UGC funded university. It is purely boys college, no girls are allowed admission in this college. This institution is managed by the Arya Samaj with collaboration with the state government. It comes under GFTI. I got rejection from Delhi Technological University (DTU), Delhi. My JEE Mains rank was not as much as it was required to take admission into Delhi Technological University. I was not able to score better in my JEE Mains examination, so my JEE Mains rank was not sufficient to get a seat in this college.
