Course Curriculum Overview

The course is structured in the direction of research. As we moved on semester by semester we got to know what effect did the course had. We became more specified, also skeptical towards certain methods and our writings were even more fined.

Placement Experience

The college didn't provide any internship but they kept us updated with various job opportunities available for us. Some of us got virtual internship which was sometimes paid via the college website form.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very feasible. The fee for the programme is very nominal. Per year fee is around Rs 2,500 which is very low. Thus form financial point of view it can be considered as quite feasible.

Campus Life

The labs are well maintained and equipped with latest technology. It is well managed by the assistants. We used to spend lot of our times in there. We have sports competition as well at the college which include cricket, football.

Admission

For a bachelor's degree I applied to the college as it's science faculty is very good. An online form is available on the website which have certain fee. Admission is granted on the basis of scores obtained in academics and hence merit.

Faculty

The faculty is quite decent. They are engaged in research by themselves as well. This helped us in getting more insights of the research world. They had some unique ideas in performing experiments with easy which was great.

Story of hit

Placement Experience:

The campus placement from recently past years is slightly good . Like tcs infosys cognizant ibm Capgemini like companies comes every year with good placement and capsitech gives you internship from 3 year . From 7th sem you are eligible for campus placement in 2025 the avg package is 5-7 lpa and Highest lpa is 75lpa . My plan is getting good job in good company

Placement Experience:

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

SXC Kolkata is a gem of a college.

Placement Experience:

Computers are so vast that masters is mandatory and therefore I have certain plans for that. However big scale IT companies come here and students of Computer science Hons have had placements worth 6-10 lakhs easily. My plans are to appear for the job interviews but not taking any as I want to study more.

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
