Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is really interesting, with relevant topics that are necessary for an understanding of the subject. Exams are held yearly, and there are smaller exams held mid-way through the year. It's not too hectic, however.

Placement Experience

Placement opportunities are few and far between, and there is a lot of scope for improvement in this regard. There aren't many jobs available for B.Sc. graduates, and most students go for higher studies or government jobs. The college authorities help us as they can, however.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is quite feasible, as a matter of fact. The admission fee is about 2,000 rupees and the yearly cost is less than 10,000. It is affordable and that is helpful for those who aren't from the most affluent sections of the society.

Campus Life

There are different extracurricular activities, such as sports, or dance, drama, music, creative writing and painting. Many participate in these. There are workshops held from time to time, and other events happen too.

Admission

Admission process is through the results of 10+2 examinations. I applied after the results came out. They formed a merit list based on a cut-off calculated using the subject scores and overall percentage.

The faculty members are all qualified and experienced. They have been teaching these topics for years now, and it had become a second nature for them to talk about these. They're helpful and they help us in understanding these topics.

Yes our college offers campus placements.Students from 4th year are eligible for campus placements.Many reputed nation and international companies like microsoft,Wipro,TCS, Infosys and many more companies offrers placement every year in this college. arrording to 2025 deta overall placement rate was 82 percent, Highest packege was 80 lpa and average packege was 12.6lpa. My only plan to get a good placements.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement from recently past years is slightly good . Like tcs infosys cognizant ibm Capgemini like companies comes every year with good placement and capsitech gives you internship from 3 year . From 7th sem you are eligible for campus placement in 2025 the avg package is 5-7 lpa and Highest lpa is 75lpa . My plan is getting good job in good company

Placement Experience:

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

SXC Kolkata is a gem of a college.

Placement Experience:

Computers are so vast that masters is mandatory and therefore I have certain plans for that. However big scale IT companies come here and students of Computer science Hons have had placements worth 6-10 lakhs easily. My plans are to appear for the job interviews but not taking any as I want to study more.

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.
