Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum followed for this course is divided into 6 semesters. Where are are equal theory practical and tutorial subjects and each of them carries 400 marks. And mostly the credits are also sem for each subject.

Placement Experience

The college provide internships and part time job facilities for the students who are interested. There is a notification issued by the college regarding this internships and part time jobs and the students have to fill the form and give it to the authority within the prescribed time.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees per year for this course is is rupees 2200 which is very nominal and the fees for the full course is rupees 6600. The student has to pay application fees at the time of filling the application form that is rupees 150 only.

Fees and Financial Aid

Government of West Bengal offers scholarship to the meritorious students who are needy and talented as well. The students who are good at academic also gets the scholarship for educational loans by various banks easily.

Campus Life

There are so many events celebrated in the college like Foundation Day celebration, education visit to jorasanko thakurbari, annual sports day, Saraswati Puja, National Science Day. There are different departmental events also like guest lecture sessions, quiz competition on English literature etc.

Admission

It is an undergraduate course and applications for it is available online on the college website. The fees for the application is rupees 150 which has to be paid after uploading all the documents ask in the form.

Faculty

The faculty members are very polite in nature. There are total 6 faculty members who teach the students that are doctor rumpa Das, doctor Sangamithra Ganguly, professor Raj Das, professor Rai Sarkar, etc.

A college wih greate oppotunies if you want to grab it

Placement Experience:

Placements this year are very good and lots of students are placed on campus with very high to pretty decent salaries. The average salary is around 16 Lpa which reflects the excellent performance of students availing for placements. But in case if someone is not placed they can apply off campus and get a job with the help of a strong alumni network.

From 3rd year students are able to intern and college helps to crack it. Here company gives a job of around 6 -7lpa. The college's highest placement is around 20 lakh in 2024 on campus Overall 90 % of students got placed.

College experience of my life

Placement Experience:

The job placement was good because maximum students got job offered by college.From 7 th semester the students are eligible for campus placement.There are various companies which offered job like TCS, MICROSOFT, WIPRO,ITC,HCL, GOOGLE,INDIAN NAVY AND ARMY etc.The highest package is 15 lakh in my time and average package is 4lakh .97% students got placed through college placement.i will do job for 2 years then I will prepare for upsc it's my plan.

Remarks:

Because it provided the stream that I was interested in. This was the only University in West Bengal which provided this stream. Plus the faculty was nice and the location was convenient as well. The counselling and the aid given in career placement is also commendable.

Placement Experience:

Almost all the students got placed from college in major companies like Skechers, Firstcry and Etsy. I don't know the salary packages offered. But most of the companies mentioned above were offering the salary package ranging between 3 LPA to 5 LPA. I would give an average rating because of my personal experience with the placement cell after I left college. Almost 80% of the students got placed, and the remaining either opted for pursuing higher studies or were not ready for a job right now.

Remarks:

college is kinda good and bad at some point. As u know nobody is perfect in the world. So its very ok and a good college for studying and bad at their staff facility they need to improve that. That was really irritating.

Remarks:

Everything things is positive it feels like second home. Environment are very good in nature. Nearby city are very good. From burdwan railway station to college is very less distance. Twenty four hour facility transport available.

According to me this is the best college to study in Kolkata for NOC the best college to study in India the best things that we want possibly are available to us all the time there has been a good library a good playground and a good faculty as a good infrastructure for us so that we can develop our cells into better human beings.
