Course Curriculum Overview

Structure is very good and in my opinion I have studied 3 years in this college and they have made it a good structure as compared to the other colleges because we are having a good clean and manageable and systematically arranged course structure

Placement Experience

Punishments are there but not in good numbers because the students which having no particular dream in the future will lead to get the job for the perfect student having lots of knowledge will get the job these two categories get the job other than that all things about the masters course

Fee Structure And Facilities

3000 rupees you have to give every year and if you want you can opt for hostel facilities because hostel facilities are very good in this college and having a very good room service clean rooms big rooms and good mess food

Campus Life

extra curricular activities are very good and labs in sports are very good because we are having a good infrastructure so they have lots of space for making extra things like big ground for playing and all that stuff

Admission

If you want to take admission in the college you have to first visit college check detailed fees structure and go to your department visited then decide to take admission or not this is the main process in my opinion you should do the same

Faculties are also very good and having a very good response towards the the students and very focused that they have to complete the course in the time period because the time periods is short and course is very long so you have to be very fast

GO FOR IT!!

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are several prospects, especially peer-to-peer counseling, where you get a mentor. We call it mentor mentee program. So, there will be groups of students, and each group will have a mentor who helps you whenever you face any issues whether in real life or in your academic journey. They’re always there for you. There are also remedial classes, and extracurricular activities are included in the curriculum. You even get the freedom to choose what you want to pursue creatively, like joining poetry clubs and similar groups. Right now, I’m at Banaras University, and the curriculum here is really good. We have sessions on public speaking, how to conduct interviews, and many other practical skills. These are highly commendable because they help you in professional situations like the one I’m in now. However, I would say that teachers could be a bit more active with electronic tools like using PPT presentations or audio-visual methods instead long lecture sessions. As for exams, I wouldn’t say they’re too difficult because there are many weekly assessments and sessionals, which actually help you evaluate yourself better.

The placements in our college is decent. The average salary package a student used to get from our college was around 4lakhs to 5 lakhs per annum. Mainly they used to bring non IT companies to the IT students. It was rare that IT companies used to comer in bulk.

This is the oldest Pharmacy college in India

Remarks:

The college is a good college it is situated beside the district hospital and there is morgue beside it. So students will se many dead bodies been taken. This may be problem for weak heart students. But I thing for a pharmacists he/she should be able to see dead bodies.

Remarks:

Institute of Pharmacy, Jalpaiguri is the 1st Pharmacy college in Asia. This is the only one government college in West Bengal. Labs infrastructure is very poor. 100% Placement are done. Our college is very good Pharmacy college in India.
