Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is good. Exam pattern is also very well-maintained. Exams are easy and students don't feel the burden. Labs are an important part of student's lives in this university as most of the courses are lab-based.

Placement Experience

There is no placement in this college. Some companies come to university but take a very small number of students. Generally, students are placed in Arab Companies with good salary packages. But these jobs they get from outside campus interviews.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very less. It is easy to fill the fees. I have paid about Rs. 32000 for one year. It means that I have paid about Rs. 64000 total fees for my course. As it is for two years. I have paid the fees in instalments.

Campus Life

There are many extracurricular activities in this college. After the classes students went to play different sports on the campus. University has many sports events in which students from different colleges participate. Different sports like cricket, badminton are played in this college.

Hostel Facilities

The college has separate hostels for both boys and girls. The infrastructure is also very good. The rooms are big. They are also furnished with the necessary items. The mess is also there for the students. They get good hygienic food there.

Admission

I got admission in this college on the basis of my B.F.Sc degree. Candidates should have a B.F.Sc degree from Tamil Nadu Fisheries University or any equivalent degree. University also calls the eligible candidates for a counselling session.

The faculty in this college are highly educated and qualified. The faculty are well trained in their field of study. They teach students in a sophisticated way. They help students by giving an answer to every query they ask.

The better life journey

Placement Experience:

The placement in the college are average and students usually become eligible for campus placements from the final year or last semester.A few companies visit the campus for recruitment, mainly offering entery level roles in technical and non technical fields the average package offered is moderate and suitable for fresh graduates while higher package depends on the student skills and performance around the fair percentage of students get placed while others prefer higher studies or prepare for competative exams the college also give the basis placement training such as aptitude practice communication development and interview guidance which helps the students improve employment

Placement Experience:

I came to this college because of the best placement offers they provide.From the 2nd year which is 3rd semester our institution training is for placements. Reputed companies like mediccin, Harmony,apollo etc are collaborating in our college. Highest salary package is 21lakhs per annum. Average salary package is 15 lakhs per annum. More percentage of students are getting placed. My plan is to get placement offers from my college..then after that I am wishing to be placed with higher salary package.

I had applied for engineering, agri, veterinary and fisheries. I desired to be an veterinarian and my second go to option was engineering. I didn't prefer agri. During counseling process, i couldn't place in the veterinary so i chose engineering in chennai. I studied engineering for 2 months. Then I came to know about the counseling of fisheries stream. When i went to search about fisheries. I was amazed and surprised about this sector. Prior to this i didn't know much about this stream. This made me to discontinue my engineering and made me to purse my career in fisheries. My coutoff was not enough to be an veterinarian (my cutoff -190.5). The admission for fisheries is pretty much similar to agri stream. The eligibile subjects are Maths- biology and pure science groups. The admission process is through counselling. You must have scored 50% in your 12th to be eligible to apply for this stream....Read More
