It seems to be more different that's why I chose this course.the faculty have number of teachers 1:2 ratio.they all were completed PhD in fisheries science course and they do teach well and make us better understand about the course.the exams were after 105 days a semester is held the questions are little bit indirect..but if we learn fisheries science will be the easiest course and easy to understand.the teaching is done in smart board with ppts and refering in libraries.very useful.

Internships Opportunities

Foreign countries 12% have got opportunities and in TN state fisheries department 18%.and other jobs were available.the projects were given to the students of the ug degree to enhance their skill.and make them confident

Placement Experience

After 8th semester the college provides placement,top companies in seafoods make their visits here,nearly 15,000-25,000 is the basic salary of a fisheries graduate per month.iam expecting to join in Mpeda.

Fees and Financial Aid

This university offers us a better education in a affordable fees...cemester wise the fees should be paid.per year we spend 16,000 that'all and scholarships are provided for the students of different categories.and financial assistance is given for the needy students.campus jobs are available..but better qualification makes us to reach the position soon.

Campus Life

Pontrifest is mostly held in March month and sports day college day is also celebrated in June or July month...volley ball throw ball basketball table tennis disc throw jawline throw shotput foot ball yoga swimming are here..tamilperavai club science club literary clubs are here provided and that's all running by students association.our class room has space more ,9 fans a smart board wifi laptop drinking water dustbin .more number of books available in library nearly 50 -100 books are there about journals.and subject related books are nearly 500 are available

Hostel Facilities

Per room 3 person.cots, study table ,cupboard ,chair for each .meal is in good quality.egg,fish ,chicken ,greens, vegetables,in a week.a form will be given to fill..and 2000 per year is fees .the hostel is inside the campus that makes us easy to go to college..

Admission

No I never took any entrance.i had a cutoff of 189.5 and I got admission..it was just I looked into the website and known about the dates and application form ..moreover the fees for application is affordable and online counseling will be conducted for selecting the college we wish .

This course is not widely known by the students. But the scope for this course is everywhere. The person with good subject and practical knowledge can easily avail a job . The exam timing is 2 hours for 80 marks

Admission:

If you are talking about the course bachelor of fisheries science then I would say it is not as exposed as the other courses are expose like BSc BTech and so I get to know about the course and my family said me that you should do it then I think I should try it and I have to pursue it so I am here and pursuing it

Admission:

The admissions are based on entrance test that is the ICAR AIEEA UG level exam. After qualifying this exam one has to appear for counselling round to get a seat allotted in the institute. I was allotted a seat in the later rounds of counselling in the institute. Since it the institute is a part of top ranked agricultural University in the state the college is a go to natural choice for student.

The Faculty of Fisheries Sciences and Faculty of Fisheries Engineering offers B.F.Sc. and B.E. courses respectively at the UG level. Intake for B.F.Sc. course is 60 whereas for BE it is 20. Age limit for the programmes is less than 21 years. Admission is conducted on the basis of marks scored in the qualifying examination.
