Syllabus and course curriculum that our institute is following is as per the guidelines of national fisheries board. The syllabus balances all the sub-domains like fish culture, fish rearing, fish management etc as a part of it. The examination pattern that is followed by the our institute is the semester-wise system. Exams are held twice in a year as per the system.

Being a Government and top ranked institute in the state you can expect placements to be good in our institute. The placement cell of the institute provides necessary support in regards to jobs to the students. However I will not say that each and every student gets placement through the support. Internship support is also provided by the institute.

The fee charged by our institute is quite manageable which is expected for it being a government institute. For the entire course duration the fee is less than Rs 50,000. The fee is to be submitted at the start of each academic year and the annual fee is around Rs 11, 500.

The National scholarship portal scheme run by the central government is an effective scheme to provide scholarships to the students across India on fulfillment of certain eligibility criteria. I applied under the scheme and got my scholarship sanctioned.In case you are not able to get the scholarship educational loans are offered by all the commercial banks in India.

Our institute doesn't has much to offer when it comes to extra curricular activities or event celebration as a part of the campus life. General events like the Republic Day, the annual day and the foundation day are celebrated annually. In terms of the infrastructural facilities of the institute are concerned based on my experience I can say that they are sound and good.

The admissions are based on entrance test that is the ICAR AIEEA UG level exam. After qualifying this exam one has to appear for counselling round to get a seat allotted in the institute. I was allotted a seat in the later rounds of counselling in the institute. Since it the institute is a part of top ranked agricultural University in the state the college is a go to natural choice for student.

The teachers in our institute are professional researchers and expert in the domain of fisheries Sciences. Many of them are involved in work with government labs working in the domain of fisheries welfare. This experience of the professors comes in handy for the student as we get to understand things with the a practical approach from them.
