Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course curriculum and exam structure is not that burdensome. Its relaxed. We don't feel very hectic. The course gets completed on time and we get exam break too. Even practicals and main edams have lot of gap between them.

Placement Experience

4

There is no placement, even though some companies are looking to come but our faculty members are not responding to them. But if you are in DCE, then you have a chance to get selected in Arab companies. Overall there is no any chance of campus selection. So, before getting admission here, forget about the placements.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of the college is extremely affordable and feasible, I feel. It's very economical. The fees are Rs 12,000 per annum which makes it to Rs 36,000 on a total for a period of three years which is not very expensive.

Campus Life

4

Students of the college are constantly encouraged to shape up their atheletic skills as well. The college has a number of sports achievements in its kitty held at various college & university levels. Infrastructure for sports includes a meticulously designed badminton court which can be played upon in day/night, equipment for cricket, table tennis, volleyball & other indoor games

Hostel Facilities

4

The college has magnificently designed separate hostels for boys and girls with all modern facilities, for boarding and other recreational activities that ensure all round and balanced development of pupils' personality with hygienic living conditions and modern amenities. The rooms are spacious and well furnished with attached bathrooms. The serene upbringing helps the students to learn and develop self-discipline, individuality and cordial relationship with others.

Admission

The Faculty of Fisheries Sciences and Faculty of Fisheries Engineering offers B.F.Sc. and B.E. courses respectively at the UG level. Intake for B.F.Sc. course is 60 whereas for BE it is 20. Age limit for the programmes is less than 21 years. Admission is conducted on the basis of marks scored in the qualifying examination.

Faculty

4

The college has a highly dedicated faculty. The college provides a good ratio of well trained and highly educated faculty members who are well equipped with the modern technology. The teachers also put in a lot of efforts to cope the subject into the students mind. The teachers are very cooperative and are available all the time to help the students.
